I really loved that game... until it told me to collect every pearl to progress. So I stopped playing.

My point exactly, pokemon is pure mainstream. Think of all the merchandise, everybody played the card game, watched the tv show, saw at least the first movie and probably played handheld games.

i was only talking about the video game. nothing else. i know some people who dislike the game and refuse to play the video game. i know some people who never knew that pokemon has video games.

By far the biggest issue in that otherwise wonderful game is the point in the story where they tell you that you have to collect pretty much every pearl to progress. I refused to do so.stephenage

Damn forgot about that, but that was completely easy. In BGaE you have to do challenges and photograph animals all over the place and its hard to find the exact location of all the collectibles. Unlike in AC2.

I resently beat S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernoby, it's a fantastic game on many levels. I really don't understand why I havn't heard people talk about this game before, you would think it would be on Top 10 lists somewhere.
