The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past (SNES) is getting a full 3DS remake/reboot!
Discuss! :D
Ah, not really a remake, but a new game set in that game world. Neat! :D

They don't look so bad to me, but it doesn't look as good as on SNES. There's something odd about the look.Eikichi-Onizuka
Since I hated Yoshi's Story, I hate that the series is using it's sound effects and style. :x

i would rather have it that they kept the style of the old snes game

Proof Yoshi's Story is better, and possibly the greatest game ever made.:|

I liked Yoshi's Story myself, it was just way too short and easy.

Felt so uninspired.

Yoshi's Story is so much better, they're are using it's sound effects on the older games... Because it's better.:|
I suck at trolling.:P
I still need to play a Zelda game!
This LoZ game will be the first time in what's felt like forever that I have high anticipation of something Nintendo. 20 years of praying...
DON'T. LET. ME. DOWN. NIN-TEN-DO. (Though I'm sure they'll do decent at the very least I'm sure...)

You weren't a fan of games like Donkey Kong Country Returns, Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, Bowser's Inside story, etc?

Believe it or not, not really. I respect them as well built games but just about none of them seemed to get me excited. You would think DKCR would've since I was a huge fan of the series on the SNES. I am a bit more optimisitic about the 3DS run though.[QUOTE="ShadowofSonic"][QUOTE="Exceed20XX"]This LoZ game will be the first time in what's felt like forever that I have high anticipation of something Nintendo. 20 years of praying...

The game looks just as good as it did before, what's wrong with a port? I wouldn't minding have DKCR on the go(and without motion controls).

Ugh... motion controls... I wouldn't mind it joining my other portable DK games though. I actually tried DKL1 for the first time today.ENOUGH!!!!!!!!
The motion controls on DKCR are spot on. I never had one issue with them, ever.
ShadowofSonic
I did say they weren't bad. :P They don't ruin the experience like they do in same games.

I looooved DKCR. That being said, I'm not desperate for a near identical version to play on the go.
They aren't that bad for DKCR though, but still it'll be nice not having to shake the controller at all. I don't think I've played the Donkey Kong Land games, just Country for the GBC as far as handhelds go for me. Well, I've played Mario vs. Donkey Kong on GBA, but that wouldn't count.Eikichi-OnizukaThe Land games are side adventures to the Country series it seems (not direct converions down to GB), still impressive to see though given the platform. I never got to play the GBC version of Country.

I'm not either. I'll probably get it but not until after the price drops. There would have to be a wealth of new content for me to shell out 40 bucks for it.

It's the same as the SNES version pretty much. It doesn't look quite as good but looks great for a GBC game.

Rare were pretty good at wringing visuals out of systems. What ads are you talking about? :?Kman5507Nintendo trying to collect revenue on videos hosted on Youtube related to Nintendo stuff, Let's Plays etc it seems.
It doesn't sound too bad actually, but it's still stupid.bugbagYou're response essentially. Not sure why but I had to.
Who is Ike? I only read the comments.:PbugbagA Fire Emblem character. He joined the SSB roster in Brawl over Roy. the key things to know:
1) He fights for his friends.
2) You'll get no sympathy from him.
Just like Nintendo won't get much sympathy from you over their decision.
