Metal Gear Solid talk is fine but has anyone here played any of Kojima's games that aren't connected to Metal Gear?

Yep, it was only released in Japan, but there is a fan translation.

I did on the PS2. I bought the HD Collection but haven't replayed them on that yet.

They are bit on the PS3(I think 360 version is a bit better but still not as fast as PS2) as the frame rate isn't as high as the PS2 original. I played it a little and it didn't bother me much but I only played through the first boss so far on the HD collection.

Not really, the story isn't bad but ZOE is all about the action for the most part.

There is some shooting(actually pretty hard in some parts, wish I could've got the mouse to work for those or get a lightgun) but Policenauts is mostly an interactive story with point n' click adventure elements and some shooting. Snatcher (Sega CD) is the same way(not sure if it has shooting or not), I plan to play that as well but haven't gotten around to it yet.

I will definitely be picking up the Metal Gear Legacy Collection. I wonder if MGS and VR Missions(which isn't on PSN atm I believe) are on disc or not. Hopefully they are and not codes but I'l pick it up either way.Eikichi-Onizuka

If they are codes, I will sadly not be buying. Codes at this point seem insulting.

Yup, the God Of War five game set, actually. Two of the games were codes..... :roll:

I know it's shallow of me, and it would be great if more people played the series, but I feel like it's Playstation at heart.

That being said, Metal Gear Solid 4 has WAAAAYY too many Sony cameos to ever get an Xbox port. :P
