'Fanboy' is a term used when someone is much more passionate about gaming than you.
You kinda already stated they like video games more than you.
While it's fine to be passionate, fanboys are often seen as people who ignore others and automatically deem what they like as best. Someone with a true passion for video games will be opened to discussion and new hardware, not bias to it-Most fanboys are narrow minded. I've often seen people call themselves fanboys. "I'm a Assassin's Creed fanboy," is a term I have nothing wrong with, but you should listen to others if you truly want to learn about gaming as a whole. Fanboyism has a point where it becomes ignorant, and we don't have a single person like that in this union. If we did I think we could get them to open up to more games.:P
