[QUOTE="ShadowofSonic"]Why did you think the plot was too complicated? :Prandom991
Have you understood the plot? If yes,how many times have you finished the game to understand the F@cking plot!!!Â
Lol the plot was pretty simple compared to other Metal Gear games.[QUOTE="random991"][QUOTE="ShadowofSonic"]Why did you think the plot was too complicated? :Pnaju890_963

Do you believe this?
Well, anyway. I don't like political plots and the likes of It. I really preferred MGS3 plot... I only played the game 3 times to fully understand It:P
One more thing, 999 is very unknown. I'd never heard about it until you started the constant rants about it, and Metal Gear Solid is renown and loved world wide.ShadowofSonic
Nah,it doesn't matter If it's known or not.
Though i haven't heard 999,there are games out there with amazing plots...Persona series is one of these games too...Â
Popularity as any sort of argument automatically brings up Call of Duty being greater than the series you're talking about.
Very unknown? Nah. It's niche, but it was popular enough to get a reprint in the US and a larger budget for a multiplat sequel. Besides, putting aside the fact you don't know what the word "rant" means, the main difference is that I've played both series and you haven't, and that MGS isn't renowned for its story but rather its gameplay; its story is so easily picked apart in its ridiculousness and amount of plot holes that only pure cheesiness makes it tolerable.
Also, LOL at using the popularity of any series while on a games site. Seriously, very much a lrn2debate moment there.
Contrary to popular belief, series do get popular - for a reason.
It's fashionable now days to go the niche route and simply like a game because 'BIG EVIL CORPORATION DIDN"T MAKE IT!!! >:(' but there's no need to think popularity = overblown game.
Also, I'd say the story is more loved than the gameplay of MGS games, especially the older ones with more convoluted controls.
[QUOTE="ShadowofSonic"]I should try the Persona games.random991
You should not If you don't like classic Japanese graphics...
What on earth does that mean?
I see a life without Kojima is hard, the poor victim feels the need to lash out and loses sense of differing opinions. :(
Take care.
There's actually good discussion on Persona in the SMT IV review thread on SW if you want to see, random.Blabadon
Well,i don't have to see anything actually...The SMT series have amazing game stories...Either Persona or the SMT games...It's always amazing;)Â

Sorry:P
I meant anime based graphics...Â
I'm fine with anime styled graphics.
Which Persona game do you think is best?

Which Persona game do you think is best?
ShadowofSonic
Persona 3's plot is a lot more serious than Persona 4 but Persona 4 still has a plot that rivals Persona 3.
The only difference is that Persona 4 is better overall because It was released after Persona 3 (of course:P)
But,If you can,you should play both...You will never forget them;)Â

You should start from Persona 3 because if you play P4,you'll see that P3's system mechanics are not as good as P4 and you might not like It too much...Now,if you can only play one Persona, start from P4...(the games plots aren't linked...)Â
[QUOTE="ShadowofSonic"]Nah, it's ok. :P
I'll try Persona 3 for the PSP. :D
random991
Yep,good choice...P3 Portable has better mechanics than P3 on PS2(and some extra superboss fights)...The only bad thing is: It has pictures...not scenes like P3,P4(Ps2)Â
Ah, that sucks. Does it make the game less enjoyable?
