No man, when people say GoW they usually mean Gears. Nobody says GeoW, they say Gears or GoW. Gears is a more popular game than God of War sadly, so it took the name in popular language. Also you can look into the context of a sentence, when somebody says their favourite FPS is GoW it is pretty obvious that they mean Gears. Neither are FPSs, but Gears is called an FPS all the time.
I liked GOW 2 more than GOW 2. I just felt like GOW is a better series than GOW. And GOW is truly amazing, it really is, GOW is not. I just am not a fan of GOW, but GOW is awesome! So yeah, I'm more of a fan of GOW.:|

Resident Evil: Afterlife. It was terrible...
What I found equal parts amusing and sad was how during the trailers it felt like they were advertising the 3D effects and technology used more than the movie. I mean, I know most movies these days will have a plug somewhere saying it will be in 3D, but these commercials really put effort into it.
Speaking about 3D, I just watched the worst movie.:P

Every single second, it was 3D!! 3D!!! I don't care! I just want to watch the movie! I like how it had nothing to do with the real Resident Evil games.:P Terrible movie...

I disagree, I would say good games usually earn better scores indeterminate of genre. Also most modern RPGs are more akin to pure action games than pure RPGs (Mass Effect 2 anybody?).
