Are Video Games Art?

I thought about it and I think I found a way to make our ideas work together. So you aren't a king, but youeventually become Lord of a large estate and the king doesn't care what you do as long as you keep earning him taxes. Does that work?

Is that what we were doing? I know you said the game would be Art because it's named Arthur... I didn't realize art was actually art, and we were making a game called art that would be art.

Kman, notepad was easier. Here's a demo.

Directions: You have two choices. Choice number 1 is the top one, choice number 2 is the bottom one. If you choose choice 1, scroll to the right. If you choose choice 2, scroll down and then to the right.

The notepad version has arrows, and you cannot see your choices until you scroll. The gamespot version isn't going to work so well.:P

I'm thinking of a horror game. If you send it in a PM you can get the notepad effect. Would you guys test it? I'd have to do it in episodes so you can't cheat.

I'm working on the alternate endings. Each chapter ends with a critical moment, one where you have to make a decision which effects the rest of the game.

We need someone else to test it, so I can see if anyone can get ending A on their first go.:P

I could get behind text based games if the story and chocies were good. Those are 2 things many games lack these days.

Same here. My friend was describing it to me and I looked up some gameplay footage. I am not usually a fan of point and click games but because of the chocies and consequences I think I could really get into The Walking Dead.

First off, if collections make it to the PS4 you want Ico and SotC plus MGS.:P Killzone 2 has really good game, but had a awful story. I haven't played Killzone 3 but it was received very well. Ni No Kuni got good ratings, so you should look into that. And God of War 3 also got very high ratings if you're into that.:P Heavy Rain was praised very well too. Infamous 1/2 are great, and Flower is good if you want something unusual and relaxing.

Some of these I haven't played but those are the most well known ones. I'm sure I missed a lot.:P
