The current teaser will be carried onto later matches if remained unsolved.
A new anagram will be replaced once the solution is found.
No additional points are awarded. This is completely optional.

Guidelines
How to play Final Fantasy Countdown
(1) Letters Round:
Two methods of picking your 9 letters
Method 1:
Competition host will randomly generate the letters in any position by your immediate request.
Example:
Contestant A calls:
"I like 3 vowels and 6 consonants please!"

Method 2:
Competition host will reveal the corresponding consonants and vowels in the order you requested.
Example:
Contestant B calls:
"consonant, consonant, consonant, vowel, vowel, vowel, consonant, consonant, consonant"

- You must now use each letter once to form one Final Fantasy related term in order to score points.
- The competition host will send the two contestants a PM as a reminder. Both competitors answersmust be PMed to the competition host in order to avoid conflict answers in the topic thread.
- Contestants will score points depending on the number of letters used E.g. 5 letter word = 5 points.
However, if you manage to discover a 9 letter word you score double. Thus 18 points is awarded.
- Each contestant may only submit 1 term each round! Once messaged you will not be allowed to submit another term whether it be longer or valid.
- Contestants will both score separate points if they submit a legitimate term no matter who finds the longest solution. Participants who fail to find a valid term before the deadline will score 0 points.
- When selecting letters, there must be a minimum of either 3 vowels or 4 consonants in each letters round.
Technicalities of Letter Round Rules:
What FF terminology is valid and unaccepted?
- You may only use each letter only ONCE to form ONE relevant Final Fantasy term.
- Standard inflections on nouns such as "Summons", "Lunarians", "Elements" are valid.
- Proper nouns such as "Mysidia", "Denzel", "Lindblum" are perfectly acceptable.
- Specific term combinations such as"Blue Stone", "Red Mage", "Eiko Carol", are legitimate.
- Alternative terms such as "Hunter"for Ranger, "Limits" for Limit Break are appropriate.
- Plurals of mass nouns such as "Fires", "Mages", "Dices" are inapplicable terms.
- Hyphenated terms such as"Hi-Potion", "Hi-Ether", "Mini-Cid" aredisallowed terms.
- Terms with roman numerals such as "Red XIII", "Dia III", "Banish IV" are rejectedterms.
- Apostrophic terms such as "It's Sharp", "Mayor's Key", "Aeon's Soul" areinvalid terms.
- Surnames alone of characters e.g. "Strife", "Dincht", "Tribal" are strictlyprohibited terms.
(2) Hangman Bonus Round:
- A Final Fantasy term will be revealed in the form with only vowels intact.

- The competition host will send the two contestants a PM as a reminder. Both competitors answersmust be PMed to the competition host in order to avoid conflict answers in the topic thread.
- Contestants will both score 10 points if they manage to PM the correct answer before the deadline.
- There will be penalties for incorrect guesses. The first incorrect guess will result you scoring 7 points if correct on the second try. 4 points are awarded if you're successful on your third attempt. Any answers after 3 incorrect guesses will only be awarded 1 point.
- Participants who fail to find the correct Final Fantasy term by the deadline will score 0 points.
(3) Conundrum Round:
- A Final Fantasy term in the simplified form of two words will display a 9 letter anagram.
Example:
THINGLING = ?
- The competition host will send the two contestants a PM as a reminder.
- Both contestants will be permitted to either submitting their solution via PM or posting on the topic thread.
- The first person the solve the conundrum instantly scores 10 points and concludes the match.
- You may only guess once!
If you're the first to guess incorrectly then you leave the rest of the period to your opponent.
Both submit the wrong answer, the two competitors score 0 points.
- Participants who fail to find the correct Final Fantasy term by the deadline will score 0 points.
