well I only played the game once on at wii launch and it was sooo difficult to control where you drive. I kept going off coarse. Did anyone else had this experience when they first played mario kart ds?
Considering the original MK and the GBA Mario Kart use the Dpad to control, I don't think it is a big deal. I don't mind the controls, after awhile I liked them better
nes and n64 versions Agreed I have played every Mario Kart to come out and own them all. As a veteran of the series I must say the GC version is the worst to ever come and I thought the game was done for and then the DS version came it was perfect. It feels very similar to the enjoyable SNES and N64 games but unlike the GBA game which is not as fluid the DS game has perfect and very reliabile controls.

Yes some one finaly agrees with me that MK: DD sucked!
I origianly wasn't going to get Mario Kart: DS but the fact that it was Wi-Fi changed my mind. I hope the come out with more online games that are as fun as this one!
