My family has broken two Wii straps so far. This is just crazy. How hard is it to hold onto a freakin Wiimote? So have you broken a Wii strap yet?

P.S. You can go to my profile to find more info on my family breaking the wii straps.

nope, in my opinion it isnt the wrist straps that are the problem, it is the people holding them.  Why would you let go of the remote? EVER?

I asked them when they let go why they did it and they said it "just happened". I still don't understand how in the world they let go of the wiimote. It seems very easy to hold onto.

i haven't. from what i've seen it would be extremely difficult to break them. i'm actually going to find how much weight it takes to break them with a fishing scale ( if it goes high enough) and i'll post it.

That won't be a very accurate measure of the amount of force to break a Wii strap. You must remember that this always happens when someone is moving the Wiimote. So you must add in the cinterifical force(I know I misspelled that badly).

I'm new here. I haven't broken mine yet. But then again, I haven'tswung it like a maniac. I feel that it's the people, not the strap.

Nope I haven't. And as of a few hours ago, both of my remotes have the new straps so I don't think they will anytime soon.

I haven't broken either of mine yet, but I got the new straps anyway and put them on the day I got them.

And yes, it's the people, either they are being stupid or they are drunk. From what I have heard it is either they are letting go of the remote (very stupid) or they claim their hands are sweaty (in which case, wipe your freaking hands, morons!)

those straps work just fine as long as you don't get angry at the system or be a lunatic ( no offense if any1 here is 1).

I haven't broken anything yet, but we got the new straps nonetheless.
