Fall/Winter 2009 games

With winter vast approaching, I wandered what titles where taking your fancy?

Personally I am looking into:

Halo ODST

Beatles Rock Band

Guitar Hero 5

DiRT 2

Forza Motorsport 3

Assassins Creed 2

Uncharted 2

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Fifa 10

I will no doubt have others that I am interested in, hopefully something on the Playstation 3 but Uncharted 2 is the only real one I want on that system from the list above.

My list would be:

Batman: Arkham Asylum

Sims 3: World Adventure (not sure about the launch date, though)

Fifa 2010

Dirt 2

Rock Band Beatles

Assassin's Creed 2

I will also be on the lookout for any new RTS games. An expansion for Dawn of War 2 would be awesome.

Halo ODST

Dirt 2

Forza Motorsport 3

and Modern Warfare 2 are all games I will buy no matter what, basically. Probably won't get any more (discounting XBLA games) and prepare for Splinter Cell Conviction and Mass Effect 2 in early 2010.

As for me I am not sure myself (badum dum tish on the drums if you please). I am looking at my options as they come and will just keep myself updated on the main titles and any demos that seem enjoyable. I am currently just looking at older titles to pick up on the cheap for XBox 360 and Playstation 3 whilst these new titles start to appear. Hopefully Batman will drop to the magic 20 pounds or less mark soon and I would get it then.

Would be nice to get a heads up on the Batman game. Not much of a fan. Yet if the games good Ill try it..  :)

Cool stuff, I am looking forward to Uncharted 2 as well. What is this Demons Soul as I keep hearing about the game but I have no idea what it is?

Also Dragons Age looks really good, I am supprised by the lack of attention the game seems to be getting from the media or actual pushing it advertising wise.

Two i've already pre-ordered, Borderlands i'll just get it when i get it, but the other two i'm dying for.... they are both gonna be EPIC. 

What is Demon's Souls as I keep hearing about it but  know nothing on it?

Borderlands I hope I will see some more gameplay of as some videos have dampened my spirits of it but a recent video really excited me for Brutal Legend.

I would tag Persona as being a JRPG, although Atlus games tend to be a bit on the darker side than most traditional JRPGs are, which is why i love them so much :D

An excellent list there sir, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 looks very good. Operation Flashpoint I hope is very good, as I remember the first being very tactical (i.e. dont run out of cover as you will be sniped, that sort of thing, kinda GRAW but much harder from what I remember).

There is nothing out there that can't wait for a price drop for me personally. Bioshock 2 and Mass Effect 2 on the other hand will be instant purchases.pai-may

I may get the first L4D toward xmas. Not a big enough fan to pay for sequel on release.pai-may

Maybe I should do the same. We should all play it together.

Already got Assassins Creed 2 ordered & Forza 3 with Aliens* Colonial Marine,

But that was pushed back. 2010 I think. FFS.  :(

Too many WW2 shooters, I think I stand for everyone by saying we need a break from them.

Like that is ever going to happen, oh and there arre just as many if not more sci fi shoot the Alien games out there.pai-may

Lets put it this way: Half-Life and Halo are very un-alike, despite being sci-fi shooters where you shoot Aliens.

Agreed, Uncharted 2 for instance is quite different as a shooter but man the combat feels weak online.

Single player hopefully will be awesome stuff.

You guys pay too much attention to the settings. Whether or not it's aliens or Germans doesn't matter as long as the shooting's good.Benny_is_here
