we have a leader who hasn't even posted in the thread yet, wake up people. hendrix29
Well, the leader is a mod...
So, maybe we should just stop being pissed off with what happened, and move on. The unions still have lots of potential even just by the way they are right now. Let's focus on what we can do to make the unions betteras they are right now.
Why don't we start by writing some common tips at the front page? Some articles on tricks to improve unions would be nice.

Agreed, I have already moved on. I try to make my union live (not mine, just and officer), we have the members, but we don't have a good thread creator. That's all we really need.
But I don't really have any tips, try to make something big then tons of threads to get activity up.
A lot of our features take time and lots and lots of effort to put together. Considering how we are all union leaders, we really spend way more time with our own union than here. It takes a lot of energy to just run one union, so keeping this place active is indeed very difficult. All it takes are two or three unions not spending their time here and the union can't function.
I know that publishing stats and such makes this union useful, but it is simply too hard to keep up. Gamespot does nbot have a good union tracking system, therefore we have to go through each and every unions to track their stats.
Also, we need more Gamespot staff's support. I'm sure the staff will be willing to do so, but they won't do it unless we letthem know exactly what we want.
Unions are dieing left and right. The Halo Union seems to be the latest big unions in the dieing process...its sad to see such big unions go down, The Halo Union had over 6000 members...Innocentguy757i know what you mean. I feel like my union of 1800 strong is slowly decaying as well. :(
I think this union needs a new leader. I am the leader of 2 unions, and I requested to join this union months ago. The leader still hasn't accepted me. I think you guys should post some updates --> some good tips for union leaders. This union is not dead but it will die soon if there isn't a good leader. I mean I scrolled down the page and I didn't see one union update posted by the leader. And you say he hasn't posted in the forum?
ahem, lazdude resigned, and passed on to Donkeljohn, who has not posted ever since...
I still remember when this union was created...seems like a long time ago. I haven't been here for several months, but I sure did enjoy the time I spent here while it was up and running. It was fun helping the union get on its feet back then, so if there's anything I can do to help again, sign me up. Otherwise, this union had a good run, and was a very original, progressive union idea on your part hendrix.
Cheers

Because he is working on union fixes and upgrades.

Those are the trade-offs.

Speakin' of trade-offs and seein' as how this forum is for Union Leaders, can you give us some insight on what to expect with these upgrades?

It would be nice, it would be really nice...
But I doubt they will tell us before something happends...
i still think we need a new class of union leaders to post here and bring this place back.theeman2000
Not a bad idea, but with the few ammount of people here, who should it be ?
Should we make a recruitment efort at the union recruit forum? That never really does anything IMO, but it wouldn;t hurt to try it i guess. Just have to let them know that we are looking for union leaders who still want to make the most out of the unions.yian
Wells since we more or less are the official Union Leader Council we should be able to get a sticky I think. It would give us many more new leaders aswell.
