Apply for one of these positions today. Officers will get first priority, but recruits will also be considdered. Only submit an application if you are willing to follow through on it. You arn't required to be very active, as long as you do your job whenever possible.

Co-leader of the union, assists in all affairs and is appointed acting leader if neccassary.

In charge of organizing projects like the monthly newsletter and assigning tasks accordingly.

Editor of Intelligence

In charge of seeking information and news about certain subjects and reporting back.

Editor of Management

In charge of keeping forum topics and home page updates organized, well presented, relevant and moderated.

Editor of Representation

Donkeljohn
In charge of getting the general community message across, messaging back and forth between union members and site staff.

Editor of Press

In charge of posting home page updates whenever possible and promoting the union.

lazdude, if we're going to assign these duties, I think we should adjust the permissions in the admin section so non-officers can make articles as well. Also, I could help with communication. hendrix29

I had them set so only you can join if you're application is accepted. Also, these people are all leaders, so I can't see how a leader could ruin a union.

Ok I have updated the responsibilites system with revised positions and have assigned each to a current officer I beleive would be fitting to them. If you are unhappy with your assignment, let me know here and we'll try to sort things out.

In the near future I will adding jobs for normal members that do not require them to be officers, so check back soon. Any feedback also appreciated.

I've been on vacation.

When I expressed interest in being promoted to be an officer, I was hoping to show up, answer questions, and generally help you (the collective you) have some insight, input, and staff presence. I haven't changed anybody's responsibilities in the union. Some people have left of their own accord and the holidays have definitely contributed to a slowing of posts in the union. . . except to insinuate I was abanDONing you.

I believe in Unions at GameSpot and trust this place is a great forum for open discussion among union leaders. i am not going to force anybody to post nor will I send out PMs calling for activity. I will, however, ask critical questions here. If you don't post, I may not necessarily get the feedback I am looking for.
