I remember that Star Fox was going to be released before Zelda WiiU, so if there is going to be a playable version at E3 that means that Star Fox will have, perhaps, an october release... Does that means that Zelda will have a november release date?

Also...what a lame excuse for F-zero, i doubt we will ever see a new one.

All I'm really that concerned about is the dungeon design (which is why I love Skyward Sword in spite of its flaws); as long as this open world approach doesn't encroach on that, whatever.

Eh, to be fair, Mario Kart is simplistic in comparison to F-Zero. Even then, I still think it's a shitty excuse, considering the Wii U Gamepad and the Pro controller borrow elements from what dates back to the FREAKING SNES controller, which last I checked, played well enough on the ORIGINAL F-Zero (at least, judging by my playthrough of it via Classic Controllers or the GB Player controller for GameCube... I never owned that game growing up).

Guess I'm the only one with any hope for the franchise still. I'm just glad they're acknowledging the franchise's existence. I am confident we will see a new one in the future.

I admit, I think Miyamoto has to be getting damn close to retirement (probably should've done it earlier), but at the same time, although the future is clouded, I do fear what may happen without him.

It's like nintendo just wandered into 7th generation multiplats. I hope it's more innovative than they let on.

I'm just curious what types of rewards you will get for completing these side quests. There are only so many items a game like Zelda can have, and rupees are completely worthless after you get past the early stages of the games. I guess I would say that if the side content consists of more challenging areas with bonus bosses and dungeons, then this is fantastic, and if it is just "travel to this location and pick up an item for me so I can give you rupees" then I would rather they just not even put it in the game.

They only have two racing series and then immediately revealed that one of them is dormant. So why don't they just say they like MK being less traditional.

You haven't played it and you haven't seen it, so you can't credibly say whether the comment is bullshit or not.

The WiiU has Bayonetta 2 and Ninty exclusive magic, I'm going to buy one sooner or later. I never thought I'd say this, but it's currently the best "next gen" console, even if it's the weakest.

I will SW bet you that it's Bs... though you will probably have much lower expecations on what is considered "benefits greatly" .... or do you expect they have made magically things happen? honestly?

All-range mode map? silly team commands? make it a cockpit view? please.... it will add next to nothing to the game.... the gamepad is at best a nice remote play controller.

Actually, being able to direct squad members to map locations using the touch screen would be a really nice feature. I doubt the game does that, but there are certainly meaningful ways to improve games with the touchscreen that go largely unrealized.

name some games that currently "Greatly benefit" from the gamepad. I can make a case for some games being WORSE (E.G no racing map on TV because its forced on the gamepad) ... yea because when I'm competitively racing I totally want to look down at ANOTHER screen -_-;

Zombi U makes great use of the gamepad. Nintendoland also greatly benefits. That is about it in regard to the games that I have played, though I would argue that being able to switch items without pausing the game in Wind Waker is a whole lot better than having to pause the game. Ubisoft is done with the Wii U, but a Ghost Recon or Rainbow Six knockoff could also be a whole lot better with the touch screen. Really, the Wii U controller was a great idea that has to this point been spoiled by developers.

And as any Bethesda game shows, side missions aren't always great content. Be careful what you wish and get hyped for.
