Your favorite boot up screen/sounds

Was playing my Xbox Series S and whipped out the 360 games via BC and was reminded of how cool the 360 boot up was. So that gets a vote! Also like the GameCube one too.

How about you, SW? What are your favorite video game system boot up screen/sounds?

Personal fav is og Xbox startup

But GameCube is very iconic. So was PS2 startup. The PS2, GameCube, Og Xbox startups were all pretty damn good.

The Dreamcast VMU sound is also extremely nostalgic. If you have one, you know what I'm talking about lol.

Hard to beat this imo, but the the og Xbox is pretty great too. I also really enjoy the Vita music once the system boots up. I really miss these great startups.

N64 but only on Perfect Dark.

The PS1 startup gives me goosebumps, still.

Can't go past GameCube and OG Xbox.

Some of you have already listed my favorites that being GameCube, original Xbox, Dreamcast and a 360 wasn't too bad.

Loved the PS3 start up.

GameCube and dreamcast were my favs too.

Not a system, just a sound I used to associate with "I'm about to play some cool shit".

You just invoked a lot of memories with that one lol. Love the one at 30 seconds, I think that’s the one I grew up on lol.

Always liked the Sega Genesis one. Also GameCube.

Ha, yeah the Capcom "ripoff" happens to be my fav, but yeah always thought they were pretty similar. Yup, figured you like the MGS one.

Always liked Segas various startups too, the ones that incorporate the game/character into it were a nice touch.

Sonic 2 probably my fav of those. Forgot all about the one for SamSho at 5:18, pretty badass lol.

Nothing comes close to the warm and fuzzy feeling of booting up a PS1.

It's gotta be PS1, followed by PS2. Rose-tinted glasses and all.

C64 and its legendary blue basic screen. Well, everything about the C64 is legendary really.

Otherwise the PS1 start up.

Dreamcast without a doubt.

The original Xbox startup along with the guitar startup in Halo 2.

I never had one but still give my vote to the PS1.
