I just saw a thread recently about your most dissapointing sequels and was wonderin whether anyone actually like the sequels more than the original for any game. My best sequel is probably SSBM. It really added a lot more content and kept you busy for a lot longer than SSB.
If you're talking solely about second games, I'd have to go with Earthbound (Mother 2). The most entertaining story and dialogue of any game I've ever played.
But if you're talking about any game after the first, then Final Fantasy VI or Resident Evil 4.
System Shock 2 was my best impulse purchase ever. Magic Carpet 2 is also one of the greatest games I've ever played. And, of course, I have to bring up the greatest game ever.
