It's sad to see MS do this to themselves with Kinect failures, underperforming hardware, potential spying and all these other mistakes. PS4 is going to be the runaway system, which is bad for us all because competition is good. And MS is avoiding competing by having so many issues. I'm sure some of their games will be great, and they'll systems, it just seems they are giving so many reasons to go with alternatives at this point.

PS: I say this as a guy that loved both his original Xbox and 360 for a while, through I'm sure some of you have noticed I've graduated to pc gaming more often of late. I just wish MS weren't shooting themselves in the foot so much.

So I guess the OP didn't actually read his own link? That is in regards to 3D Blu Ray playback only. How many people even have 3D capable TVs anyway? I'm in the market for a new TV myself, and I'm excluding 3D capable ones because it raises the cost of the set for what is, quite frankly, a lame fad that is already losing steam.

The X1 will play Blu-ray fine. Not 3D at launch. However the X1 does support 4K games.

Don't expect the PS4 ever to do 4K gaming. 4k pics yeah, just not yet.

If it was the other way around, you would list it as a reason to get an X1. I saw your lame post about the five or so reasons to get an X1. All those five reasons were no better than 3D.

I heard somewhere that tthe reason both consoles aren't supporting Blu-ray out of the box is because they would rather pay for licensing per ACTIVATION vs licensing per CONSOLE.

Seriously this is no fail. Nobody cares about 3d . Eventually there will probably be an update to allow 3d playback. Remember when ps3 didn't have 3d playback for awhile. This is no reason not to get an xbone, yes I do have a 3d tv and movies ,but I will still get xbox one.
