One thing to think about is that right now many people talk about it as if they have a weak 08 and Sony is going to steamroll them when, in fact, they just haven't really told us what they have in store. Maybe they do have a weak 08, but they may have a few really appealing games in their hand but just aren't playing their cards yet... Probably don't want to draw attention away from their spectacular 07, with some companies going nuts on their 08 lineup since they have no 07 worth mentioning to draw attention away from...AfterShafter

Every non fanboy shopuld know they don't have a weak 08. It was obvious at E3 this year was the focus. WHen you have TGS, and I believe one more convention around the cornern its obvious they will show us something new. Heck the majority of the games I listed are 2008 and 2009 tittles.

You know what if there is a game that should be hyped it should be PHantom Dust 2. The original was one of the best games out on the xbox. I am just as excited for NG2 and DR2, but if Phantom Dust 2 is officially announced I will be the happiest 360 owner ever. The game really is that good.

Let me spell it out for you.

Microsoft has an amazing year for the 360 in 2007. Beyond that, only 1 title was directly announced at E3 for 2008, that was Resident Evil 5. Devil May Cry 4 (which was just TBA if I recall) and GTA 4 (Supposedly 10/16/2007, but we know how that turned out) are the only games I've heard of in the year 2008 for the 360.

Floating rumors such as Ninja Gaiden 2, Dead Rising 2, KOTOR III etc have all been said, but none have given any confirmation, ESPECIALLY at E3. Therefore, whether in jest or in reality, Microsoft didn't clearly illuminate the next year much beyond the 3 games I previously said.

Did that make enough sense to you now?

I have news 4 capcom.

Word is leaking from Capcom today that Dead Rising 2 could be making a brief appearance at TGS later this month.

No word on whether or not this will be on the show floor, or behind closed doors but we'll be sure to bring you more information on the title as and when we get it. Other information is coming forward claiming that Dead Rising 2 will not in fact be a 360 exclusive like the first title was and may be coming to PS3 as well. This is certainly no surprise with Capcom already having stated earlier this year that they wanted to make the most out of their new IP's. Could this mean a port of Lost Planet for PS3 too?
