Yakuza 6; The Song of Life (PS4 exclusive)

Just because I didn't see a thread:

It's kind of a crazy how we went from hoping and praying for a Yakuza localization to now getting 3 games within a year's timespan. Well I'll definitely be buying this (and Kiwami on the 29th), and I'd seriously consider going for 6's premium edition if I drank, because those glasses look cool as shit.

So who else is looking forward to playing Kiryu's last ride?

I'm so happy that this series became popular in the west. Well deserved! Fantastic games.

I like what they are doing with this series. It's nice that you can play Virtua Fighter 5 within the game.

Yakuza 0 is my GOTY so far. Can't wait for this.

Oooh, I want that after hour edition. I will drink some Suntory whisky out of those glasses with a handcarved ice cube ball. I loved Yakuza 0 so much and can't wait for Kiwami (luckily don't have wait long). I would guess Yakuza 6 will be even better.

Man, Sega is just tearing it up this year! LOVE that this series is enjoying it's day in the sun :) Fantastic series!

This means the recent Yakuza series has quite a success in the west. Really glad cause the wacky side of the series needs to be shared! Too bad we may never see kazuma in feudal japan tho... Oh well at least we got the main stuff!

That's good to hear. Will definitely be picking this up. I'm personally hoping that they start bringing the series over to PC as they'd be wonderful at 60 fps.

Does this mean that I need to have played Yakuza 1-5 in order to fully understand the storyline of Yakuza 6?
