Didn't realize it came out and it not looking good for this game. Looks like another fail from Silicon Knights.

Yeah they did and before that they made Metal Gear Solid remake and one of the best horror games ever, Eternal Darkness.

Silicon Knights lives up to expectations.

Eurogamer called it so bad it's good though, so I might give it a rent when I have time, purely because I'm a comic book geek at heart.

That was Silicon Knights? Wow. These guys haven't had a good game since Eternal Darkness. I mean, they remade MGS1, but still, they haven't made a good game on their own since Eternal Darkness and that was what, a 2002 game? Geez....

Lol, Silicon Knights. Was kinda expecting this especially after watching some trailers. It's a shame that Silicon Knights hasn't produced anything all that good in nearly a decade. There is talent in there some where, it's just not being utilized properly.

Oh, wow. I didn't expect that at all. I mean, I wasn't expecting it to be amazing, but I didn't think it would be that bad.

I already figured it'd be a massive failure ever since I knew Silicon Knights was working on it, get it through your heads people Legacy of Kain is 15 years old and they haven't shown any promise keeping up with modern game standards, they haven't made anything good in a very very long time, there wasn't anything great about Eternal Darkness, yes the notorious bathtub made me jump about as much as the first time I played the viral maze game and that's really all it has going for it, and I don't count their porting of MGS1 to the GameCube six years after its original release to be an achievement. Why gamers don't get this is understandable but Activision should have thought about this better considering the only thing keeping them afloat is WoW and COD/MW. They need developers that make good games at the threat of losing their jobs, not developers that'll be open forever because the Canadian government subsidizes them.

This is what they wrote in their review (they gave it a 5/10):

"X-Men: Destiny is a terrible game in most ways. It's an ugly, stupid title that's shoddily constructed. And yet, it gets the most important thing right: crafting your own mutant works due to finely tuned balancing, and tough choices coupled with haphazard item acquisition ensure that the focus is squarely on that.

Those expecting a well told, immersive X-Men experience will shudder at its chunky character designs, shabby presentation and stilted dialogue, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy myself with it.

Unlike movies, it's rare that games are so bad they're good. The rubbish ones are usually so unplayable that they're not worth plodding through. X-Men: Destiny is the exception that gets just enough right to be fun, while being sloppy enough elsewhere to be good for a laugh. It's the best kind of disaster."

Apparently the game is only like 5 hours.

The difference is, Big Rigs wasn't intentionally bad, Deadly Premonition was.

The game still holds up. The narrivtive is well done and different. The gameplay is also still fun and the atmosphere is still there.

I actually forgot they did the original Blood Omen. The Soul Reaver side completely overshadowed that imo.

this isn't neogaf fault. More like Dyack actually thinks his games are worthwhile. Now if gamespot follows this trend with other developers. *cough* insomniac, remedy games*.

Located in Ontario in the Niagara region. They suck so much that the Niagara Regional Police moved their new headquarters to Niagara Falls, and the Mayor was all in a big huff about it lol.
