Didn't realize it came out and it not looking good for this game. Looks like another fail from Silicon Knights.

Silicon Knights lives up to expectations.
Eurogamer called it so bad it's good though, so I might give it a rent when I have time, purely because I'm a comic book geek at heart.
[QUOTE="Lexter45"]Silicon Knights, name seems familiar, did they make Too Human?Wanderer5
Yeah they did and before that they made Metal Gear Solid remake and one of the best horror games ever, Eternal Darkness.
K, well Too Human was awful so won't pick/rent/steal this gem.Looks like that studio should call it quit. Too bad a friend told me Eternal Darkness was pretty good.kuraimen
I think they were going to be shut down but the Canadian government bailed them out or something crazy like that. I don't know the full details, but apparently SK is very valuable to the town they're located in. Too bad they suck.

If it's like Big Rigs or Deadly Premonition then it's a good thing.[QUOTE="eboyishere"][QUOTE="shinrabanshou"]

This is what they wrote in their review (they gave it a 5/10):"X-Men: Destiny is a terrible game in most ways. It's an ugly, stupid title that's shoddily constructed. And yet, it gets the most important thing right: crafting your own mutant works due to finely tuned balancing, and tough choices coupled with haphazard item acquisition ensure that the focus is squarely on that.
Those expecting a well told, immersive X-Men experience will shudder at its chunky character designs, shabby presentation and stilted dialogue, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy myself with it.
Unlike movies, it's rare that games are so bad they're good. The rubbish ones are usually so unplayable that they're not worth plodding through. X-Men: Destiny is the exception that gets just enough right to be fun, while being sloppy enough elsewhere to be good for a laugh. It's the best kind of disaster."
Apparently the game is only like 5 hours.

The difference is, Big Rigs wasn't intentionally bad, Deadly Premonition was.X-Men Legends dude. X-Men Arcade.:P That Wolverine game was pretty cool.[QUOTE="AcidSoldner"][QUOTE="TheGuardian03"]Best X-men game so far is Origins.mitu123
I already figured it'd be a massive failure ever since I knew Silicon Knights was working on it, get it through your heads people Legacy of Kain is 15 years old and they haven't shown any promise keeping up with modern game standards, they haven't made anything good in a very very long time, there wasn't anything great about Eternal Darkness, yes the notorious bathtub made me jump about as much as the first time I played the viral maze game and that's really all it has going for it, and I don't count their porting of MGS1 to the GameCube six years after its original release to be an achievement. Why gamers don't get this is understandable but Activision should have thought about this better considering the only thing keeping them afloat is WoW and COD/MW. They need developers that make good games at the threat of losing their jobs, not developers that'll be open forever because the Canadian government subsidizes them.lamprey263
The game still holds up. The narrivtive is well done and different. The gameplay is also still fun and the atmosphere is still there.
Best X-men game so far is Origins.TheGuardian03X-men 2 on the sega megadrive and X-men children of the Atom disagree :P

I actually forgot they did the original Blood Omen. The Soul Reaver side completely overshadowed that imo.
I hope they just rated it wrong like they did with too human. That was an awsome game. dkdk999Doubt it, this looks even more crappy than Too Human.

Located in Ontario in the Niagara region. They suck so much that the Niagara Regional Police moved their new headquarters to Niagara Falls, and the Mayor was all in a big huff about it lol.
