Xbox vs. PS2 graphics

I know that this is probably really old and probably has been done (but I couldn't find it) but did anyone really see a difference between the two consoles graphically? I mean halo 2 was obviously one of the better looking games on either console and that was an xbox exclusive so yeah the xbox was slightly superior, but on multi platform games, they were identical weren't they? This kind of leads into the what if its the same this generation question.

This is a pretty dumb debate. Even back when the PS2 and Xbox were consoles the clear winner was the Xbox. Why? It simpley had far more power.

Though to be honest, the PS2 did damn good all things considered.

Xbox was more powerful and the games had more technical features. The big problem with Xbox is that most all games rendered like a PC game and the effects look extremely dated very quickly. While PS2 rendering looks unique and it has many exclusives (especially late gen) that have really original beautiful art styles that stand the test of time far better imo. Xbox is technically superior but developers pulled off much better looking games on PS2 that stand the test of time far better.Lazy_Boy88
