should had gear 6 and next forza ready near launch instead making the old ones look like there new to the launch line up

PS is no better but Demon’s Souls, God Fall and Sackboy’s Adventures have my attention imo.

That's a good list of launch games for Xbox Series X/S. Especially if you add GP, it becomes more attractive.

Looking forward to AC, Gears 5 (which I already have but will continue it on the X), Grounded (I have already and it is fun but it is not complete, if it is complete on Nov 10 I will definitely be playing this when I can get my hands on the XSX), Falconeer looks fun too. I will try Bright Memory too

That's a big meh. Some of those are already out and I've played. Others I'm not interested in or can get on my PS5.

There might be no reason to take this thing out the box. This Xbox launch is only 2nd to the Nintendo DS as far as terrible launch lineups are concerned. Did Xbox not tell any of their studios they were launching a console this year?

Gears Tactics not good enough for ya? Even though Gears series fails to compel Halo's popularity, Gears of War series is still a good game in its own right but Gears Tactics is a 1st-party to MS.

Good lineup of games, I’m getting a PS5 at launch but look forward to getting an Xbox Series X eventually to play some of these. I’m sure the list of games will only get better in the new year.

I know people are downplaying it just because it's "another AC game"" but I watched the new gameplay video and Valhalla is shaping up really good.

Xbox Series X launch games is far better than PS5.

Which is quite impressive when you realize we are in the middle of a pandemic. Not to mention all the BC games you can play. Quick resume, super fast loads. There is a reason Xbox Series X is viewed as a superior machine.

The only reason I can think of is that they're optimized for the hardware to take advantage of certain features (Ori runs at 120fps on Series X/S).

They have absolutely nothing lol. Demon's Souls, Miles and Sackboy will all be high quality first party games for PS5. And R&C is a launch window game. GT7, Horizon Forbidden West and GoW Ragnarok are launch year games.

The only first party game scheduled to release on XSX in the first year is Halo Infinite Disappointment.

Why is Forza 4 and gears 5 there? I see allot of padding on that list several of those games are out now not only for PC but for xbox one or PS4 like tetris which is just a multiplayer mode.

That pathetic the xsx line is, that they are counting old xbox one games as launch games.

They have got me in the past but I know Ubisoft's M.O now.

I expected that to happen. MS needs any and everything to make their roster look appealing right now. I don't think they were ready for that Halo backlash. If that had launched it would've been fewer complaints....a lot fewer.

@louixiii: Sucks Halo wasn’t ready. But nothing they can do giving the pandemic. Not giving them an excuse. But I mean, Cyberpunk has to be delayed twice due to the pandemic. As long as Halo is ready when they release it, that is all that matters. Regardless, plenty of content to keep Xbox Series users happy. The Medium will be released a month later. Which I have to admit, that game has very intriguing game play. Two worlds being rendered at once?

Yakuza doesn’t interest me. Not really into Japanese games since the older gems FF games. Falconeer looks interesting. Not really into rally car racing so Dirt 5 is out. I’ll find entertainment for a week until Cyberpunk.

I hope xbox goes back to making better games next gen. I want another 360/ps3 gen again were it was worth owning both systems.

was not the pandemic fault its was 343 studios bad management. I hope Microsoft stepped in and dealt with it to get it under control.

they dealt with interns. one intern would work for a month then another one came in and worked off what the last one did and it slowed them down because of it.

343 are so lucky its xbox and not sony. sony does not have a billion to waste on a developer like that.

Judging by this thread yes if it got PS5 updateas like how more than half of the mentioned titles is just updated xbox one games.
