A clue to what the game is may help but what ever it is it's likely running at 30 fps (or less)

It looks like they're comparing video's taken at different resolutions. If they took actual screenshots and zoomed in with something like photoshop or MS paint, the base Xbone screens would look more pixelated and not blurry unless maybe the game was using dynamic resolution or being upscaled.

Yep, I think I'm right. This is CoD4 taken in 4k and zoomed in at 300%.

Now are we supposed to be shocked the Xbox 360 title's look better on the the Xbox One X?

Really though, even from these compressed screens the difference is pretty clear. Obviously will be even more noticeable running on the hardware in front of you. Congrats.

It's a significant jump, and damn near on par with some of what gets sold as a "remaster". Much like a PC gamer who just upgraded their GPU and/or maybe just messed with some mods/ini, you're getting to see significant improvements to image quality and performance of existing games. Great right?

Just cool it with the "top PC performance" thing lol. Consoles aren't that. They're built to be affordable, and what you're getting for the price here is great. But you're not going to get top PC graphics + performance.

Which shouldn't matter really. Just enjoy the significant upgrade for what it is.

Yeah, I can't tell much from these comparisons. There's no doubting the IQ increase from the One to the X, but there's no telling how compressed these were initially, or the actual performance.

TBH, i'd take the One quality if it were a given 60fps, over the X's IQ bump.

You can probably see Altair's gigantic balls on the X, as he leaps from really tall heights and hopes to hit that carriage of hay. Unfortunately, the 360 was so low res, that you couldn't really see them.

Seen tons of these comparisons last few days, but cannot see the real benefits of the games running on an X1X while looking at comparisons on my cellphone or laptop, but once I saw Mirror's Edge with X1X enhancements running on my 4K OLED, the benefits of the technology are undeniable, and quite impressive, even at my most optimistic I didn't think these BC games would look as good as they do.

That being said, this is something most people should see for themselves before passing judgment on the benefits.
