I simply do not care if the Xbox One outsold the PS4. It is not an important thing in my everyday life.

I don't know how anyone can be surprised by this. Xbox One S has a 4K bluray player, PS4 and PS4 slim does not. Anyone in the market for a new console is either going to get the Xbox One S or just wait for the PS4 Pro. I expect Pro sales will go through the roof as people have been holding off for it.

Xbox One S will still do well it's good value for a 4K bluray player. I use my Xbox One as a bluray player now lol. Haven't upgraded to the X1 S as it doesn't play 3D bluray. Yes, I'm that one person who still watches 3D movies.

Am I the only one who doesn't think that the pro will be the success that everyone is thinking? While I do think the it will sell very well but I just don't think most people will be on board to pay an additional £400 to replace their current ps4 and play the exact games they are playing now.

Is tormentos gonna go postal after seeing this? The PS4 was leading on Amazon again in September and Xbox still wins. That tells me a couple things. Either Amazon is not accurate during the months.....or....the Xbox has so many different bundles that no single bundle charts high enough but thiose bundles combined push it to the top.

Or amazon shouldnt be used as a sales indicator as its bollocks

So, the Xbox One and PS4 also uses PC hardware, it's still a console and the PC is still a PC.

Your argument is like the cows argument of 'PS Now games are still exclusive, because somewhere over the rainbow, you need to run it off server based PS3 hardware'.

I wouldn't let the cows get away with trying to count multiplats, and they tried to early on in the PS4s life before the good exclusives started to roll in. Which is hypocritical considering their stance on Xbox 360/PC games last gen. Listen MS wants their games to be multiplat, it's part of their business strategy, so if they want that, why can't the fans also accept that.

This does not surprise me. Microsoft currently has stronger exclusive games games right now which is a first for their system. The Xbox 360 had all its exclusives jump ship to other platforms, but Xbox One is strong. With the addition of PC cross-buy now it's also a good fit for PC gamers.

Ummmm...Xbox One has much stronger exclusives. Most of the PS4s upcoming ones are untested new IPs and PS4 has had bad luck with that lately.

I love my PS4, but I can't deny that the Xbox One has interesting exclusive games that I find less interesting.

@davillain-: I kinda wish MS had more exclusives. I'm pretty neutral and right now PS games interest me more than MS's lineup.

They just need one or two more AAA budget exclusives like Spider-Man and they'll be set for the year. Perhaps at E3 2017 to build hype for the Scorpio?

MS has excellent hardware and of course excellent games, just need more of the latter to turn the tides.

@nygamespotter: Yeah, MS needs more exclusive games just to keep on track with Sony and not to mention Nintendo's next-gen console NX. MS needs more JRPG as well, Lost Odyssey 2 would be a dream come true. I'd say both Sony/MS has games I'm interested playing next year but the two biggest one's are: MS-Scalebound & Sony-Horizon: Zero Dawn.

You forgot Until Dawn, Boundless, Street Fighter V, Wild, Detroit: Become Human, Days Gone, Persona 5, Crash Bandicoot trilogy remaster, and some other games

Just a friendly reminder, PC and Xbox One are factually not the same. Stating otherwise is purposely disconnecting oneself from reality and you cannot twist the facts to change this reality. The mere fact that some are trying argue this is mind numbing and blatantly stupid. What's more crazy is stating that a Windows 10 PC is an Xbox One.

It has something to do with that NPD thread he made, teasing Quadknight in the title thread and when he was told to change it, he decided to change the title differently and I guess he got into trouble for that. I didn't stick around that long in his thread and I don't think GS wouldn't go that far to banned him, just some time off suspension.

The concept looks cool. Reminds me of Vanquish. If it plays like Vanquish we have a definite winner. If it plays like Vanquish and they add multiplayer it's automatically GOTY material.

Vanquish was also my favorite Platinum games last-gen but that still goes for Metal Gear Rising. I love Sci-Fi stuff and looking at Matterfall was freaking awesome and I'm all down for it if it plays like Vanquish.

Good for them. Its nice to see it selling well. After almost 3 years on the top, its nice to see MS changes make a positive impact on sales.
