Xbox One is going to have a monstrous august.

When you look at august, it does almost seem like the holiday season starts early. It's amazing about how much is coming out:

Games:

1. Rare Replay

2. Gears of War Ultimate remake

3. Marketing for Madden NFl 16

4. Gigantic Beta

Bundles:

1. Madden NFl 16 bundle (free year of EA Access)

2. Madden 1TB NFl 16 bundle. (Free year of EA Access)

3. Gears of War Ultimate Bundle (possibly will be the new produced regular bundle or may run along with Halo MCC. Unlikely though as Halo MC is old.

that's a pretty big august of games. August could be a trouncing and it's only about a week away.

Then all this is going to go into September, with Forza 6 and it's bundle? yikes.

Eh Rare Replay would be okay if one has the X1. But it's not a reason to buy one either. Other than that....nah.

A port, a remake they shit out in ten months, a multiplat and a PC MMO.

Well I am going to buy Gear of War: Ultimate Edition and Rare Replay Collections which is only $30 dollars but I really don't see Xbox One winning this August at all. Those 2 games I mention aren't the selling points at all, there just fillers until between October-November.

So a re-release compilation, a remake, a beta, and marketing for Madden equals a "monstrous August?"

All I am buying is Rare replay. I out grew Madden years ago, Gears Remastered I am not all that interested in. Maybe I'll ask someone for it at Christmas.

My thread is based on how big these games have already shown to be based on media, news and pre-orders (which are numbers and not opinions), which the latter shows your own personal thoughts about rare replay are irrelevant.

I gave up on Rare Replay when I learned that the 360 games aren't on the disk and 38 gigs have to be downloaded from XBL.

Not really because the number for rare replay indicate that a lot of people are interested in the game, there'fore it has factually a high probability of doing well based off of number. If I said I think it would do well, that would be an opinion.

@RossRichard: Are you serious? You have to download 38 gigs? That may be enough to deter me from this game. I'm tired of these big day 1 updates and downloads when they should be on the disk. 38 gigs is too much, put it on a second disk if it won't fit on 1 and make it so 1 disk will work as the key to play them all so you don't have to switch the disk after installation. What about those people that have internet usage caps?

Ask the people who posted the articles. They did the math and put out the percentages based on the numbers they got. (only way to say it was the top pre-ordered game.)

Man, did I miss the memo @lostrib? I am going through this word spinning to make something seem like it is absolute confirmed fact in another thread. Just be honest people. Say "I want to chap some asses, so I am going to spin things to seem like facts before they are truthfully confirmed to be so".

The number of pre orders is a possibility of sales. I am one of these people. You're playing games with words dude. If you are saying something is probable to do anything, be it a high or low probability, it means you don't know for absolute fact hence the word "probability". That is an assessment or an educated OPINION. That is all it is. Telling someone they cant use opinions when you are is ridiculous, IMO.
