Yeah, it's the only argument that Sony fanboys have right now is the 720p and even with that PS4 games aren't even looking far and away better than any of the XBO games right now. But it's all good, I'm happy for all the games and consoles coming out in a few weeks.

Sony supports their consoles for the entire lifecycle. Just look at this year and the amount of exclusives the PS3 got.

Defending it is just as pathetic, IMO. There's no getting away from the fact that the Xbox One is weaker and $100 more expensive than it's competitor. The differentiators are the products, services, and functionality it offers - and I think MS should absorb the cost of including Kinect 2.0 to sell the customer the products and services they offer.

If you are so dimwitted to believe that nothing will ever change, that dev tools won't mature and devs won't become far more familiar with the One's architecture then I have nothing more to say to you. There is no doubt that the PS4 is more powerful graphics wise for games than the Xbox One. There is no doubt there is a difference you can see from 1080p to 720 upscaled to 1080p. But that difference doesn't register to me in any really great way when compared against the Ones gaming line-up, entertainment features, exclusive programming, fantasy football, and voice/motion controls out the box. I can live without every game being 1080p. What I can't live without is Titanfall, Halo 5, and Quantum Break from Remedy. And I can't justify to my wife another video game system that just plays games that look better and nothing more :) Xbox One is built for the future. I'll be in mine in 15 days :)

While people might not be worried about RROD, I think (and this goes the same for both MS and Sony's new consoles) any big problems at launch I think will really hurt the launch momentum, if PS4's overheat because of internal power supply or Xbox Ones have horrible cloud support and crash when the snap window is activated mid-game then I feel that info is really going to spread to consumers and influence their purchasing decisions.

Built for the future, but can't do what newly released gpus can do now. Imagine what next years cards will make these built for the future boxes look like on a technical level. Just look at the cards AMD and Nvidia have announced, they literally crush next gen consoles. No console manufacturer should tout their console as built for the future when it can't run what the competition can do now. Just saying.

Sonys boys can argue all they want, but the one is far superior. MSs new cloud technology will change the 50% power difference in favor of the ps4 to 700% power difference in favor of the one. Sonys boys get a few more ps while xbox gamers get better everything including gamepay with the cloud.

I'm not worried about the 720p issue cows can't help but mention. The X1 does seem to be the most flexible and adaptable console. Who knows where cloud computing could lead. Kinect is only improving and adding to game play too
