Pfft inferior tech. K/B and Mouse rule forever.
watch out. roses can be really sharp.
thought i'd warn you because you're probably used to the wit around here, and that's not very sharp at all.
HEY! I resemble that remark.

yo, and one last message to all the haters - "Hi guys!"
Hahahaha...I got nothing. That delivered quite the chuckle.
Huh, I suppose it's because I'm not A-sharp at all, lol.
I have one, and I tried it, and it worked well... notably a better experience than the Xbox 360 controller in terms of it's rumble effects and feel when I tried it with Watch Dogs. It felt identical to the Xbox 360 controller when I tried it with Sniper Elite v2, though, so I think the improved rumble needs to be built in and will only work with newer games.
I won't be using it all that much, though, because I prefer the wireless option available with the Xbox 360 controller. I heard they don't know for certain that the One controller will ever work wirelessly with PC, which is a shame. I like to play my PC games on my TV sometimes in another room, and require wireless connectivity, so I am bummed out by this news. But wired, I'd say it's an improvement - at least for recently released multiplats that offer Impulse Trigger support.
Well PCgamer posted a review for the controller. (They gave it a 90 :P) xbox one controller review
Controller is amazing once you get used to it. At first I was uncomfortable with the Bumpers. After extended use.
I think, It hands down blows the 360 controller out of the water. From my first hand extended experience with it.
@b4x
My son, calm down. System Wars is nasty place filled with sheens and non-sheen. It's hard to keep yourself together, but I've been here for so long... Conflict and victory are my parent, so B4X, stand by me. Be my son. Be my pupil. I shall guide you through this land.
Haha, great post. I get where B4X was coming from, but yeah you really cannot get upset at some of the things being said in this forum. Myself I think the Xbox One controller is the greatest controller ever made. At first it took me a bit to adjust to the new bumpers, but once I did(they are meant to be pressed differently than the 360 ones), there was no going back....every other controller I've held since then feels inferior to it.
Too late, all the sensible people are using Dual Shock 4s now.
lol symmetrical analogue sticks....yeah have fun with those.
I own two x1 controllers. One of which is the day 1 edition.
Bumpers have so much resistance. It feels so unnatural. I have to press the bumpers twice in most cases since the initial press doesn't register.
Dpad is still crappy...not much to say here.
I wouldn't use the controllers if given a choice.
I'm just waiting for a decent third party controller to come out so I can ditch the things.

you know....just because you put a tick next to something, it doesn't make it better.
the Microsoft controller feels perfect and plays perfect. Sony was even considering copying the design but chose the traditional layout because that's what sony gamers are used to.
so yeah...once again, have fun with those symmetrical sticks and I hope you don't get rsi.
what a shit thread tc and you're not even funny. fucking asshole.
Whoa go easy on him or i will tell Foxbatalpha on you!

It's proof how wrong and hypocritical lemmings are. How are you supposed to get RSI from symmetrical sticks? Lemmings make any excuse for not being perfectly able to slip into any controller quickly like I and non-lemmings can.

You can get RSI from a lot of things. Clues in the name.

Well my point is that the controller is not ergonomically sound, which increases the chance of RSI. Yes it may be a tad melodramatic, but this is system wars.

DS3 and DS4 controllers are perfectly ergonomic. Been using them for 15 years and never had a problem with any of my joints. You're no more likely to get RSI off them than off any other controller. Stop making excuses and get good.
Just played some Trackmania Stadium with the XB1 controller. Felt good. Now I'm just waiting for the Defiance update to finish. It just went free 2 play so hopefully there are people on now.
@CrownKingArthur:
Connecting a wire to hook the Xbone controller to your PC ?
What is this ? Feels like a decade ago...
huh? i assume you're ridiculing the lack of wireless for the xbone controller on the PC?
if yes, jolly good quip old chap!
i use a wired 360 controller. when batteries died half way through ornstein and smough, that's the impetus for change.

But my PC is too far away from my TV to go with USB cables :(
I use a rechargeable 360 battery and when it dies I just plug in the standard battery pack that came with the controller.
I want a wireless Xbone controller good chap !
