Xbox gamers are NOT getting Final Fantasy 16 (Playstation Console Exclusive)

This is huge, this is going to back when FFX and FF12 was console exclusive on PS2. Were going back in time here.

This is massive I mean Phil didn't nail this down he missed FF7 Remake he didn't nail this down Peter Moore got FF13 and was making deals with Japan. This is horrible for Xbox.

I'm not sure but it didn't say timed exclusive anywhere like FF7 Remake did. This is a huge reason to not get xbox Final Fantasy is one of the biggest series of all time. What good is a console if it doesn't get all the big game series that come out.

Damn. That means all PS fans are going to get the PC version instead. Well that is a shame.

Not me the PS5 is way stronger than my GTX 1070 I'm going for the better version on PS5.

Where does it say its a timed exclusive? It just says console exclusive.

Source was the PS5 Showcase it had logo saying Playstation 5 console exclusive it didn't say timed anywhere or anything.

It didn't say timed on it anywhere like ff7 remake did which said play first on PS4.

This didn't say play first on PS5 it just said its fully console exclusive.

It's timed. But for how long? Being that no one in Japan will touch an Xbox to move it out the way, getting timed exclusives like these are easier to score. Hell, I remember FFXV had a bad sales ratio between PS4 and Xbox in the UK at least. And that's a country that actually buys Xbox.

@ProtossRushX: if FF15 wasnt a sony exclusive, theres a good chance xbox is getting this too. Unless sony paid the big bux.

This title probably won't come out for three or four years, so cool your jets.

An asterisk usually means an annotation later. In order to not ruin the graphic, it may be added with a small caption with a usually simplified explanation. Otherwise you get something like:

"Coming to PS5! But also Xbox at a slightly later date!!"

Only time will tell whether FFXVI will be a brilliant game.

Nobody expected Dragon Quest XI to come to the Xbox given the franchise's lower overall popularity outside of Japan.

So, I'm betting money this is a timed exclusive or the vanilla version is what will be the console exclusive. A year after Final Fantasy XVI comes out, it will get a special edition on the PS5, Xbox Series, and maybe the new Switch.

Square Enix likes money too damn much to leave this as an exclusive on the PS5 all gen.

If Dragon Quest XI can make it to the Xbox(a series that is very popular with Japanese gamers, but not as popular in the west), there's no way in hell they are going to pass up making money on the Xbox and maybe even Nintendo's hardware.

Whenever you see "PlayStation console exclusive" it just means you can only play that game on a PlayStation console, you can also play that game on PC. If it said PS5 exclusive, it'll be a different story cause you can only play it on PS5.

But for the rest of us... is FF really that good anymore? FF15 was just okay.
