Xbox Game Pass adds Tales of Arise and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun

Microsoft announced the second wave of Xbox Game Pass releases for February 2024, which also covers the beginning of March, detailing which games subscribers will be able to play over the upcoming weeks.

Available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Cloud on February 20, 2024 – that is, indeed, today – are first-person narrative adventure Return to Grace and Bandai Namco’s 2021 RPG Tales of Arise.

“As two worlds of conflict converge, two people from opposite walks of life join forces to challenge their fates and create a new future,” the official description of the title reads. “Along the way, meet up with a unique cast of allies, all with their own reasons to fight. Featuring a real-time combat system, battles are energetic and enthralling with countless combinations of skills and abilities.”

Additional highlights joining the Xbox Game Pass library are Madden NFL 24, EA Sports’ latest football simulation offering, sandbox sci-fi game Space Engineers, and the boomer shooter Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun.

Microsoft also repeated the previous announcement that Diablo 4 would become the first Activision Blizzard game to join Xbox Game Pass since the company’s acquisition. The hack ‘n slay is set to become available to subscribers on March 28, 2024.

Tales of Arise is an excellent addition for sure but I already own it and got all the achievements for it. Will definitely check out Boltgun.

Yeah I enjoyed it more then Persona 3 Reload. I'm liking P3R but can definitely see how it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea. Can be positively tedious.

Will subscribe to try Boltgun and Diablo 4.

Maneater was on Game Pass a couple years back, good fun, I could definitely revisit it.

I liked Tales of Arise, but I felt it went way too long.

yeah the combat is pretty fun but the game drags out and enemies are massive sponges

Nah. I played Tales of Symphonia 100 years ago and liked it, but after that the series have been mediocre/ok. ToA doesn't seem very good. Got more interesting stuff to play than that.

Tales of Arise is a great addition to GP. I am currently playing through RE3 on PC (via GamePass). Great game for sure. Might go for the 'platinum' but I don't know if I can stomach all those playthroughs.

ToA is already downloaded last night. lets see if I like it.

COD is coming to Game Pass Day 1. Phil already confirmed all first party games are day one on Game Pass. COD is an Xbox game.
