'splosion man, N+ and soon Shadow Complex proves that PSN just doesn't stand a chance.

While Flower and other games are cool looking, these games have substance and challenge making them far longer lasting.

Poor PSN. I don't even think that Pixeljunk Shooter can hold up to this.

It ultimitely comes down to preference, but I voted XBLA because I feel it has a far greater variety than PSN from what i've seen.

why no virtual console? does that mean games like doom, banjo and ps1 classics don't count too, along with bionic commando and megaman? i'd say xbla, but with the vc wii would put up a serious challenge.

VC should be counted in with Wii Ware. They're both just downloads nintendo offers on the wii, just like the XBLA is for Xbox.

I'm not huge on online features so i voted PSN. For a free service it isn't so bad. I would not be willing to buy the $80-100 bridge to connect to XBL when we already have a perfectly fine router. And $5 a month would add up, so i'll stick to some free service lol.

he's talking about the psn shop, wii ware shop and abox live shop for downloadable games like braid, wipeout hd and lost winds, not online gaming.

PSN has Wipeout HD, the best downloadable title ever released in the history of gaming. Thus, PSN wins.

oh my bad, i was thinking it was about the entire service in general. But if it's that way then I would assume XBL has better shops because I havn't bought much off of the PSN except for a few DLCs but nothing else really has caught my interest. Oh well can't change my vote =|

Flower, Pixel Junk Shooter, Pixel Junk Monsters, Elefunk, Everyday Shooter, Super Stardust HD (basically PS3's version of Geometry Wars kind of), Fat Princess, Pixel Junk Eden.

plus an ever growing PSone library (Final Fantasy 7, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, Dino Crisis)

pound for pound there are more things on the Playstation Network game-wise that i wanna buy over it, then there is on Xbox Live.

If i want a great video service, then i go to Xbox Live. simply for the Netflix streaming. also the cross game chat is a big plus for me.

good thing i own both. so i still get to be able to enjoy games like Braid, and a few others.

pretty much the minute the PS3 can get it's hands on Netflix and Cross-Game chat, the only thing bringing me back to Xbox Live is to play with friends (most of my real life friends own PS3's but are never online, the few who only own a 360 play it online all the time).

All the games that were put on other systems have upgrades, like online compatibility or leaderboards. The Virtual Console consists of raw ports, which is why it's not included.

I find XBLA better for old games (Sonic, Streets of Rage, etc) In the EU Store there aren't an awful lot of PS1 games. But PSN wins for new, original content.

There's already beensome great PSN games this year - Flower , Comet Crash , and Zen Pinball and some good ones.

Coming up are 3 promising ones that have been getting a lot of positive attention. -

  • PixelJunk Shooter
  • Fat Princess
  • Shatter

Shatter is coming out soon , and it is less than $10 .... woohoo !
