Civilization Revolution and Dungeon Defenders.

Not bad imo. Civ Rev is pretty good.

whoa that's really helpful tc. after playing civ 5, my lem gf wanted to get back into civ revolution.
she's all paid up on her lem tax, so good news for her.
You know, today I was getting my XBL Games On Demand store on. I saw Civ: Revolutions, and I was like "yeah, one of these days I'm gonna pick this up and give it a go like a bro". But here we are now.
Godcrosoft has given it to me for free for a price. That's awesome. Vagina.
You can't spell GOLD without OLD. But seriously, fine picks as I've owned neither, and always wanted to play Civ: Revolution.
I guess checking these out won't hurt.
Always liked Civilization games. I hope this one won't leave a bad taste in my mouth :p
Ouch, XBL putting the final nail in Sony's coffin.
Sony is going to put a nail in their own coffin if they keep laying off workers and cancelling and delaying games.
As for the GWG, I'll give Civilization Revolution a try. I've never played it on the PC, but would like to check it out for myself.
Its amazing how the $60 people are paying for XBL ( which is $10 higher than PS+ ) isnt giving them any good games, seriously whats up with the terrible game selections? i understand MS are copying PS+ but at least do it the way PS+ is doing it.

PS+ was complete shit for about a year and a half before it got good.

PSN+'s greatness is a recent phenomenon. It was complete shit when it first launched and occasionally with March's selection it can still be shit.
Having played real Civ I HATED Civ Rev ...
Real Civ is about 1000x better, but Civ Rev is good for scratching an itch with a game of Civ that can be completed in only a fraction of the time of real Civ. I picked my copy up for $5, and I probably wouldn't have been happy paying much more than that, but at a huge discount or "free" it's worth owning, imo.

well it isnt 2010 any more so that sh$t aint flying.
UNO and Goemetry Wars is next.................
They should offer up games like Kameo and Lost Odyssey. Maybe they already have. I'm not sure. They really should showcase some of the good first party games that they put out early last gen so that Xbox 360 owners can be reminded that Microsoft used to put out a lot of exclusives and that maybe, just maybe, that could happen again for Xbone owners (Xbowners?).

seriously what is wrong with u lems? the standard has been set, either m$ match it or get ridiculed. simple as. just like lems pointed to xbl superiority over psn last gen the same sh't gets said here. no excuses, up your game

@handssss: funny cause PS+ launched in june of 2010 and sleeping dogs came out august 2012. same for some of the other games in your pic. nice try though.
if you look, it actually gives the year. those games are for June 2012-may 2013
just pulled em off of this.

tbh, I was curious myself as to what the first batch of free ps+ games are since I didn't get it until around last June.
if there were others before this, by all means, show me them.

Looks like the games didn't start being good until later 2012 and early 2013

But isn't instant games collection for all intents and purposes the very thing we are trying to discuss here?

considering your response was to this "PS+ was complete shit for about a year and a half before it got good." i would go with no
the instant game collection just means there are always 12 games instantly available when your membership starts, with 2 or so games that cycle monthly. But PS+ always had the free games cycling monthly, prior to the Instant game collection

Oh, if that's the case, then alright. No, I went to see what the first batch of ps+ games was and all I kept running into was this picture. Any time there's an announcement now, they called instant games collection updates, so I thought that was just part of plus that handles the games. Aside from that, all I really know about plus is that it gave ps3 cloud saves and some magazine thing I don't even think runs anymore. Oh and the trials and demos, but all that wasn't pertaining to getting free games.

Personally, i think PS+ is the better value as a service, especially since I bought a PS3 at the end of the gen
