So years from now when we look back, he wants All Stars to be remembered as the last great PS2 game?
 oh wow
The PS2 will go down in history as one of the "IF NOT THE BEST" all around console ever..Even over the NES..I love it..I dont play it very often now other than SSX tricky...BUT I have to say..its time for the PS2 to be put to rest...Actually a few years ago..RIP PS2
the ps2 has been on the back burner since the ps3 was released with only the most abritrary of releases and small companies releasing games on it because it is the cheapest alternative and the best method to gain sales.

LOL. you don't even know what you are talking about.
PS2 was still getting some plenty of new games through 2007,2008 - even after the PS3 was released - which is why i was in no hurry to upgrade since I hadn't yet bought a HDTV either. It was still getting the major games, and also had some "under the radar" classics. Persona 4 released in 2008 for instance, but there were plenty more.
2009 is when it started to dry up a bit more (but still with a decent number of games being released) and since 2010 I haven't been paying much attention, but it seems like EA sports and a few odd titles were about all that was left.
