Poll: WRC or Olympic Games - Which licensed worldwide sports entertainment IP be more relevant for XB Scarlett/PS5's library of games? (5 votes)

WRC (World Rally Championship) by Kylotonn 20%
Olympic Games by Sega 80%

Dear gamers on the System Wars board!

Time for more random apple to oranges speculations on Xbox Scarlett/PS5!

Question: World Rally Championship or Olympic Games - Which licensed worldwide sports entertainment game that you reckon it will be more relevant for Xbox Scarlett/PS5's library of games?

As I know Nintendo fans much more prefer Olympic Games because of Mario & Sonic, then how about what would Xbox/Playstation fans prefer?

WRC (World Rally Championship) by Kylotonn
WRC (World Rally Championship) by Kylotonn
Olympic Games by Sega
Olympic Games by Sega

P.S I go for World Rally Championship because I much more prefer motorsports/car racing over any athletics sports!

If Olympic Games is anything like international track and field by Konami then that. Only rally game I've enjoyed is sega rally 2 on DC.

I'm not what you call a true Nintendo fan, but I only played 2 Mario & Sonic Olympic Games and they are alot of fun then the average realistic Olympic Games, so I'm going with that and prefer "Olympic Games by Sega" even though I'm talking about Nintendo's Mario & Sonic Olympic Games.

I see, for my experience in a realistic Olympic Game I've played was Athens 2004 by Eurocom for PS2 which I didn't like at all.

Also, there was another realistic Olympic game called Beijing 2008 by Sega for PS3/360 which did get mixed reviews.

@mclarenmaster18: When it comes to Nintendo sport games such as Mario & Sonic and Mario Golf ect, they are as close as to "Extreme Sports" genre as we'll ever gonna get through this gen. Mario & Sonic adds more flavor fun to their games and try not to be realistic which is what I like. I'm not a fan of pure sport games other then racing sims. I mean, Tennis is my favorite sports around but even I can't get into Tennis sport games but Mario Tennis on the other hand.

There are already a few rally racing franchises out there.

I don't know if I've seen a current Olympic sport game. Maybe in the past but not now. Give me winter olympics, btw, not summer; bobsled, skiing, and hockey > running, shotput, and pole vaulting

Yep. WRC is still fun but not as good as the DiRT series IMO.

I also predict that the realistic Olympic Games on PS5/Xbox Scarlett wouldn't be that popular compared to Nintendo's Mario & Sonic At Olympic Games Series.

Yeah don't get me wrong I have respect for athletes in any area, but Olympic sports are fairly niche. Hurdles? Long jump? No one really wants to do that stuff.

Unless you have one of those cool sensor mats that you run in place on :D

The games are great especially MP, That's the exact reason I choose it too. Will probably pick up the M&S Tokyo.
