Wow, the AUS PS3 launch was laughable

Did anyone else watch the coverage? They were there at 9:30 (two and a half hours before launch) and the place was empty. They were promoting it on our Australian News last night. Trying to tell the Australian public how awesome it was and how much it was going to sell at launch. Well, according to the coverage, that wasnt the case.

 Then they talked to the owner of the store they were covering, and he said the PS3 has more preorders than the other two consoles and the PS3 will last longer because its more technologically advanced. WTF?! what would he know, hes just some guy wanting to suck people in to buy a console that is so NOT worth investing in. They ended up having 70 people (yes 70!) at the biggest launch.

 To all those Aussies who wasted $1000 on the grill, i applaud you. Ive never seen people so willing to throw their cash away.
