The 5 consoles (PS4, XBO, X360, Wii U and Wii) are AMD GPU powered boxes. PC itself has multiple generations and different code paths e.g. Direct3D generic and NVIDIA NVAPI.

Vendor neutral Direct3D API has been long dead.

We all know WOW has a massive install base (built up and down over like what? ten years?) so no its not the fastest selling video game of all time, its possibly the fastest selling DLC of all time but even that i doubt.

Surprised it's still relevant enough to have that many sales.

Last time I played was vanilla when I got bored. Don't plan on ever going back.

I re-upped. The game is fun again. I haven't had this much fun playing since the old vanilla, BC days.

It is a huge step up from their last xpac and overall it is a really good. This xpac got me playing again. I stopped for the most part during WoD and just did battlegrounds here and there. If I was not buying subscription time with in game gold I would have just stopped playing altogether. So far I am really liking this one though.

The basic more casual elements are not challenging... like any RPG ... what SP RPG is REALLY challenging?... you have a bunch of limited attacks and numbers... after you've played a few... its hard to get it wrong.

High end content on the other hand, a whole different story.
