Would you like a Final Fantasy XII Remake

Would anyone else be excited if SellOutEnix (sorry it's a habit now) made a remake of arguably one of the most underrated entries in the series for PS4?

My hopes were shattered the moment I read your post... I'm sad now.

I don't think it needs a remake necessarily, FF12 International is a great version of that game. A clean remastering would do just fine.

Resident Evil 1 needed a remake, because Capcom shoe horned shit that Shinji didn't want to do like the live action actors and stuff, so he went back to redo that entire game to have a narrative tone that fit that game. I don't think there is anything that severe in FF12, albeit yeah I don't care for the story, but that has more to do with lolvideogamestories than anything else.

I don't even care about remasters/remakes, but FFXII (and Demons Souls(God damn you too blab)) are games I would take remasters of in a heartbeat.

SE has made FFX/X-2, and Type-0. If they did, it'd probably be a PS4 only thing I'd imagine. I'd be fine if they wanted to release a XIII collection, as I never got to try Lightning Returns, that'd give me a reason. Anyhow, sure, might as well release something while they're not releasing FFXV.

FFXII withFFXV graphics would be too epic.

I doubt they'd remake to that level of quality but if they did id buy it over FFXV if they were to released at the same time

I would buy it on pc but that's never going to happen because Sony's partnership with Square. Even FFX or Kingdom Hearts HD didn't came to Xbox.

Was 12 that good? I never played it, but it's hard to imagine that being the case being how bad 10 and 13 were.

yea and i think it will be announced at Square's E3 conference.. Next year is the 10 year anniversary of the game so it would make sense

Not as big a fan of XII as some on here but I'd like to see a version for Vita, allowing the system to play the entire (non mmo) main series save for XIII. SE was hinting at a secret project a couple months ago tgat sounded like a HD port. I'm actually expecting it to be FFXii and to hear word at E3. If it's still a ways off maybe TGS instead.

It's the only numbered singleplayer FF game that I don't own (uh...besides FF13-3), so I'd be down for a PS4 port/remake.

12 is known as an offline MMO. It ditches the standard love triangle story you find in FF and goes very political. I'm sure many would call it the peak of the series.

I'm playing FF14 right now. It's fantastic. Got the Episode Duscae demo as well. This update makes it fantastic.

Well, I thought 10 was pretty bad. It was a whole lot better than 13, but at the time of its launch, it was the worst FF that I had played by a large margin. The best games imo were those on the PS1. The FF games on the SNES were also very good. X and XIII were too cinematic for their own good. I might give 12 a try.

Offline MMO is the best way to describe it, and should you feel excited about a offline MMO? No. It's one of, if not the worst entries in the series imo. FF14 is way more worth someones time if thats the type of game they like.
