Worst Franchise From The 7th Generation?

That's a franchise that wasn't created in this generation though, Plus Final Fantasy 14 was actually a good game, None of these series had a good game in them.

Really hard to choose, but I'm going with mass effect. They are all abysmal though, except tomb raider and I haven't played enough of gears of wars, but the series never interested me much.

The only Rockstar game I liked this gen was Red Dead Redemption. I hated GTAIV, I hated LA Noire, I hated GTAV. I really need to stop buying their games and feeding the beast.

I think Madden is the obvious choice. Where 2K took basketball to a whole different level, Madden just felt like a prettier ps2/xbox game. No really big advancements were made, imo. Shame, really.

Out of that list Gears has to be the worst.

My vote goes to Naughty Bear (there were two of them) for a sheer lack of giving two shits about their product on the developers side. Worst game I've ever played. Yes, worse than ET on Atari 2600.

Does Haze count? What about Shift 2? Loved NFS Shift, Shift 2 destroyed everything I loved about the 1st. Fat guy yelling at me, 1 second delay on controls, it was so terrible it made me sad.

It was Resistance, but then Resistance 3 happened and that franchise got one good game out of 3 attempts by Insomniac to make a good FPS. So ....I guess Kane and Lynch was pretty bad.

I liked the first game, but i went with gears of war because overall, if you lack fast internet there is no point in keeping it long. I think that anyone who calls Bioshock a bad series does not understand the mechanics or only likes playing your traditional FPS. Mass Effect is a series where you have to appreciate the story and characters, and sadly, some people do not.

I think you hit your head on something Sweenix... those are all great games. I would say gears would be my least favorite of those, but still enjoyed all of them, especially horde mode. Mass Effect is the best thing to come out of this generation followed by the Witcher. To me Bethesda, Bioware and CD Project Rocked this gen. I feel like this is a troll thread.

In my opinion the worst "Franchise" would be the Hyperdimension Neptunia Series... as a JRPG fan and wanted to get into it, I just couldn't and was ultimately starved for a jrpg. The premise was cool, the story had potential, but the world was so boring, story poorly told, characters ultimately annoying, and to put that into perspective, Dubs usually don't bother me, but it just wasn't the english voices, it was the dialog all together. Not to mention the combat was a snooze fest that had lots of frustrations. I like turn based, but this is just something I could not get into.

So Sweenix, please explain how these games you attest to being the worst in the 7th gen are actually bad. I feel like you just picked out the most popular series from the RPG, TPS, FPS and Action/Adventure genre's. It's fine if you don't like them, but why is it you think they are worse compared to everything else out there?
