Sweet if it allows for overall easier development of the two platforms.

Inb4 "hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, then who needs an Xbox?" That shit's boring, get a new schtick.

I'm not sure. It could be true, considering they are working toward unifying the system and the game development process going forward. If true, it would be quite impressive.

Wouldn't that be something.

One of my big beefs with the Windows store is the prices suck nuts. So not only is the whole store and app situation amature hour, but you pay a lot more than your XBox brothers and sisters for the games. If this allows you to grab a used X1 disc at GStop for $10, that's a big boon. Can't tell you how often GS plugs some XBox sale and it's wholly non-existent on Windows

By the sounds of it devs wont need to recode anything to port a game from xbox to Windows 10, I'd say this is pretty amazing for a developer. Guess we'll wait and see if anything comes from it.

@xantufrog: I feel they're gonna unify sales and stuff across the board, but you're 100% right. The MS store is shat. It doesn't always completely download a game and gets interrupted and drops speed for no reason. My brother cannot even get into his account for the store, and he's tried a number of times. He can't reset a password or anything.

This makes so much sense now because the MCC was always coming to PC but not until the xbox one version was polished. They were still working on it the Xbox version from what I know a couple of months ago. Then they announced the MCC for PC. I thought it was quick to port but if this is the case then it would be super easy for them.

@RpgGamer23q: I wouldn't be surprised, as MS have been attempting to do that for the Xbox/PC Cross-Play for a while. I'm not sure if some work would be required, but it could be as simple as dev'ing for both with no disparity.

@raining51: how so? When a dev is deciding what platforms to put a game on they look at potential users. This gives ms a userbase the size of ps4 and makes it harder for devs to not make games for the xbox regardless of install base of the console itself. This should mean more games for the xbox and not less
