Poll: Will you be happy when Death Stranded is delayed again or flops critically? (27 votes)

Yes 22%
No 78%

I will be estatic, this is a man who calls himself God insulting the basic premise of existence in general. How this sacrilegious ego maniac became a game director is beyond me. Maybe hollywood rejecting him is an explanation.

He defies everything it means to make a game and his trash series overshadowed the much better series(splinter cell) because his anime trash story with pseudo intellectual garbage.

Can’t wait to see how pompous death stranding appears to be. I could care less if it sells like hot cakes because cult of Kojima but just thinking of critics despising it makes me very happy.

Kojima clearly cares about reception of his games more than sales and it would be such a blow to his fragile ego and he might quit making games forever.

No chance. It's going to be phenomenal.

@XVision84:

No it won’t, it’s messages will be jumbled and it will take itself way to seriously.

Kojima is a hack that can only adapt anime or further convolute his franchise he was banned from.

There is a reason he made 5+ games in the same franchise and two anime adapted games.

MGS was only successful because it was unopposed and nostalgia.

Because your bringing religion and politics into this like some SJW, i want this game to succeed even though i could care less about it.

@ahmedkhan1994:

Kojima mocked theism in one of his games claiming to be God.

I am only critiquing this and asking us theists to unite against atheist bullying and boycott the game I mean movie.

Lol, a splinter cell fan.

Don't like Kojima or his content?

Don't buy his game. Simple

Why hate or wish for a game's failure when it doesn't affect you?

Unless you're a closet Kojima fan butthurt because you either don't own a PS4 to play the game or can't play the game on your preferred platform.

Critics will fap to Death Strandedeven if it's a terrible mess like Metal Gear Solid 4 was and Kojima fanboies will pretend it's the best thing since sliced bread, even though, deep down, they know the reality.

Very few will be brave enough to call trash, "trash", and those few who do, I salute you.

Death Stranding has already been confirmed to be a movie game from the main actor in it Norman Reedus, so its a lock for a 9 here as Gamespot loves the feelz above gameplay.

I am cool with a delayed game. I mean why not, its just yet another kojima game.

Neither. I’ll be happy when I can play it. Kojima makes fantastic games and I expect this one to be no different.

watch out, you're going to bring about the end of days, TC thinks kojima is the anti-christ

@drlostrib: Well, sucks to be him I guess. 😂

I think it's critic-proof and will sell either way. There's no way to test that theory, though, is there.

Why would anyone be happy at the prospect of more delayed games?

#15 Posted by Raining51 (563 posts) -

Well thatsw a loaded question I don't think either of those things will happen... the Kojima appa appeal is still there and I think this game will succeed.

#16 Posted by onesiphorus (2786 posts) -

Is that asking if I am happy if someone I disliked personally dies? No for religious reasons as such behavior is sinful as I should never take pleasure in others' suffering and death regardless of who they are.

#17 Posted by True_Link (243 posts) -

I'm not a pathetic person to be happy about other people's works failure, so no.

#18 Posted by djoffer (1148 posts) -

Looks like crap, but not sure why I should celebrate it getting delayed or flopping...

Well... No?

#20 Posted by speedytimsi (868 posts) -

Which is more likely to happen?

Death Stranded is delayed again or flops critically?

or

the name "Donald" is gonna be stigmatized once the President leaves office...

I would bet on the latter.

Not sure about this thread but at least you have a name of a real winner. :P

I don't think Death Stranding will be a good game, as signs so far doesn't point to that. And his latest games have been like 50% cheesy movie.

With that said, it would be better if the game turned out good. Good games > bad games. I don't hope Kojima will fail in order to damage his ego, as I don't really care about Kojima or his ego.

Why would someone be happy if a game flops?... I don't care how bad the company is behind it or what ever may be the reason people hate these games are made my many normal individuals and I hope the best for every game in every genre. As long as its not the Arc developers they can go f*** them selves.

@DonaId: Who's dipshit alt are you?

#25 Posted by DaVillain- (35459 posts) -

First of all, since when did Death Stranding had a release date to begin with? How can it be delayed again when it never got a release date to begin with?

#26 Posted by xantufrog (11010 posts) -

It's messed up that people who have been banned think they deserve more attention than those who haven't.
