Will We Ever See Super Mario RPG 2 On DS?

Because the first one is one of my favorite games ever. Paper Mario just doesn't do it for me, and Mario and Luigi Partners In Time or whatever is called is not that fun. 32 dollars I could of spent on Elite Beat Agents (sadly).

Okay, I'd at least settle for Mario RPG: Legend of Seven Stars on the Virtual Console. Anything!

Mario RPG is confirmed for this year on the VC. And Mario RPG 2 would be awesome, but I doubt it'll happen.Hoffgod

Yeah, I'm talking a true sequel, with Square behind it. That's why I think it'd be suited for DS, no need to go all 3d and try to make something out of it. Just keep it simple and fun.

I rather like Paper Mario, actually.  Just not as much as Super Mario RPG.
