Merely browsing the website and saw this, pretty legit site so maybe it is happening.

So far I'm pretty good with my 650gb. I don't have any serious concerns yet. But if it does come to it, I'd ether opt for a midgen refresh or just buy an expansion.

a 1tb PCI4 Nvme stick cost around $200. So a 2TB stick will cost around $400. Yeah that's gonna take a long time to go down. You probably end up playing like $700-800 for a console with that drive.

Eventually, my PS5 will have far more than that.

It's a matter of when, not if.

Sadly they wont, they want you to fork over that extra $$$$ for a external drive

There might be special editions that eventually have 2tb but not for a while yet.

Maybe. Let's just hope they don't get lazy, cheap out and slap in a QLC module for the higher capacity.

Sorry. Was shopping for a SSD recently, and I was going to get a high-capacity SATA drive, until I found out every single one available in my neck of the woods are all shitty QLC drives. So I'm settling for a 2TB TLC M.2 drive while keeping my 6TB HDD, and I'm still a bit miffed about it.

Word to the wise: if any manufacturer gives you a QLC drive, it means they don't respect you.

Might happen when the slim comes out in 2-3 years. I sure as hell don't need one. I rarely to ever replay games i've beaten so deleting them off of the ssd is not an issue.
