Hello, its been awhile since I been on gamespot so it may as well be that im a new member. I used to post back before radical site design change a little bit here and there. But it seems the sites more stable then back when the change first occurred.
Anyway my topic is on the Nintendo Switch during Oct-Jan 1st.
Here,s the thing, the Xbox One and PS4 are peaking. They will be getting the mass level adoption price drops this year. On top of that, the biggest third party games.
Then theres another factor, the PS4 Pro, price drop or not, will likely be better advertised this year than last year, along with Xbox having the more powerful Scorpio equal that will get the new console release feel without really being a "new" console.
The Switch has a good launch, but outside of Japan im not seeing that trend really continuing anywhere in europe. We won't know about the U.S. until may. But How will the Switch compete against all those factors plus mobile? The U.S> and japan are Nitnendos top two markets and I think that Nintendo needs the U.S. to be a hit for the system to even think of reaching 3DS numbers. I just feel like the Wii U the Switch may have been bad timing.
