The way I see it PS 5 will dominate every other competing systems with Bloodborne 2 being its launch game as PS 4 did with Bloodborne.Bloodborne was a system killer.

Bloodborne was a good, solid game, but far from a "system killer".
im not even sure if next gen consoles will be that much of a thing.. i notice both xbox and playstation now have subscription services that allow most their titles to be played on PC, so they're trying to expand their market for some of their exclusives which tells me maybe these companies are trying to diversify their systems in preparation for a fading console market?... PC seems to be the only real console killer
Bloodborne was pretty niche, and it wasn't a launch game. They would have a better chance with a game like Ghost of Tsushima or Horizon's next game.
Bloodborne had some major issues when it came out, including awful load times. They were only fixed in later patches...and even then, the game was merely 'quite good'.
I doubt Bloodborne 2 as a launch title would blow anyone away.
I have never understood the charm of Bloodborne, but anyway, I don't believe in a single exclusive game being enough to win a system war. In the old days, a game like Super Mario, Bros, Sonic or Street Fighter 2 was enough to win a war, but nowadays you need something else. I think the winner of the next gen will basically be the company that commits the fewest mistakes.
If you asked anybody if the xbox 360 would compete fairly with the ps3, people would have said no.
I dont think anyone expected xbox one to flop how it did.
Companies make poor decisions.
Id like to see Nintendo release a box that competes with the other two. Theyve picked up a lot of aupport from Switch, so who knows.
I'm thinking they will go with Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima and TLOU2 as games that releases first on Ps4 but also on Ps5 day one.
Horizon 2 will be the big exclusive for Ps5 that showcases all that sweet next gen power. Horizon is a perfect IP for impressive tech, as is Guerrilla as developers. With H1 releasing 2016 I think four years is a pretty reasonable time for a sequel as well.
Bloodborne is more niche, not that much of a tech powerhouse and From is not one of Sonys studios.
(above are just guesses)

Another pc fanboy alt wishing for consoles to die. Sadly for you, it won't happen.
Probably couldn't do better.
Bloodborne is still the best game on the PS4, even if it does have performance issues.
Personally I hope they don't do a BB2 since Sony owns the IP. From games are way better as multi-platform titles. I really hope the next From game is cross-platform too.
Not sure Bloodborne is a system seller on its own. It's beloved, but slightly niche. There needs to be a handful of great games covering the bases of which bloodborne will be one.
Your opening salvo is a statement of intent: Adult action, kids game, easy mass appeal, and tons of downloadable indie games to pad it out.
How many souls games do people want? Rinse, rinse and repeat.
Bloodborne was pretty special for many that played it. I personally say its the greatest game From Soft has ever created. Everything in Bloodborne fits so well, from the music, atmosphere, story, gameplay.. everything in Bloodborne is so cohesive, dark souls series could never achieve. Its that game that you want a sequel but understand why it probably should be left alone as is, a masterpiece.
Lol From and Sony, Bloodborne 2 plis I buy every single ver. I can even take a loan to buy the ultra expensive ones.
So what you're saying is that 1 game is going to ruin the hopes of the other console selling successfully. ?
@vfighter: A little over 2 percent of PS4 owners bothered with it. That's niche, and kills any idea that Bloodborne is a system seller.

around 630k players platinum Bloodborne last time Sony shared the figure (29 Nov 2018). As of today the percent of people that platinum Bloodborne is 5.8%. This means at least 11million people tried bloodborne and even though it was given as PS+ gift sometime in March or April last year, that represented 11million potential Bloodborne 2 customer.
Also 2m was the figure Sony gave, it was the numbers given about 5 month after game release.
I'm fine with Bloodborne franchise being exclusively on the console. Some games should be console-only. Bloodborne is one of them, imho.

why would i give a **** one way or another if consoles die?.. congrats, you can play games on low settings and 30fps that im playing on the highest settings at 100fps+.. yeah, im soooooooo jealous of consoles
@sakaixx: My point was, Bloodborne is not a system seller. If the vast majority of people with PSplus didn't bother downloading it for free, what makes anybody think the next installment will sell consoles?
@sealionact: 10% or around 11m of people own PS4 played BB is a very big amount. I mean even Dark souls series as whole only sold around 25m and its a multiplat.
Anyway Bloodborne was no system seller but it was the best exclusive for a long while. Xbox literally has no answer for it this gen, even 4 years later!
I believe Playstation will always outsell Xbox because globally, people generally don't like American electronics.
No. Bloodborn is not a system seller. Good game but not the right kinda game to push a console. TLOU2 would be though.

or maybe people just dont like M$

Yes, any game that sells 11m copies in this gen is a large amount.....but as you pointed out, it didn't sell 11m copies. I played it for a couple of hours, so I'm one of the 11m. Just isn't my cup of tea. Fact is though, very few ps4 owners actually bought it...so when the OP claims that Bloodborne 2 will destroy other systems at at launch, I'd say that's very unlikely.
Not saying Bloodborne is a bad game by any means, but just like other games you'll find fans as well as gamers that just don't get it.
@IgGy621985: but bloodborn isn’t even exclusive, you can play it on pc!?
Since when?
SInce around August of last year. PSnow.
@sealionact: ofcourse, its called taste. I am very anti mario but anyhow, dang too bad. Do try to get past father gascoine though if you someday wants to give it another try. Bloodborne is one of the best horror games out there and probably the best art medium that conveys lovecraft themes.
Who cares, consoles are dying after all.
when they start costing as much as gaming PCs, yeah.. not to mention the constant problems plagued by every generation of consoles as these companies try to compress as much hardware as they can into a tiny case, the lack of proper cooling and airflow, and compromises being made to other components has always been problematic.. most people i know have gone through MULTIPLE consoles due to hardware failure in the lifespan of my last gaming PC

Yeah, it's an old, stale argument. You play it on PC. You don't need a PS4.
You interpret that as you wish....

Whatever, man. I'm simply stating the facts. Bloodborne hasn't been ported to PC.
