With sales very behind the Playstation 4 and Wii U. It's more than likely. Hopefully they sell more consoles than the original Xbox (unlikely).

Wii U still has exclusives to save itself.

Well it clearly is massively more powerful than WiiU. Not that that makes it a great console or anything.

Nintendont will come in 3rd place, I can see the Xflop finishing 2nd, while the PS4 have a comfortable lead.

The Xflop will do its best at North America but don't expect it to be as dominant in the US as it was last gen. PS4 will take more market share this time around compared to the PS3.

Troll topic but I'll bite. Hmmm.. lets see.. MS dropped 1 billion on game development while Sony is putting their faith in indies and are struggling to keep their heads above water financially. MS has money Sony doesn't.

They already sold around 4M units,almost the same as the WiiU in over a year in the market,so the WiiU doesn´t have a chance and will be dead last this gen.

As far as first place anything goes,they´re pretty close and many things can change,the release of Titanfall in March will be a huge advantage for the X1.

Maybe not Nintendo still has it's IPs to fall back on if it comes out with AAA-AAAA Zelda, Metroid and Smash I could see it overtaking the Xbone. Besides Gears, Halo and Forza Xbone doesn't have too much going for it.

Xbox One already outsold Wii U with few month sale. So Nintendo Wii U is at last place. Nintendo has a fucking year, Xbox One has only few months.

I also love how Sony fanboys are still trying to pretend that PS3 has outsold the 360. It was announced that the Xbox 360 crossed the 80 million mark in October and Sony announced that the PS3 crossed the 80 million mark a month later in November. Since then, sales reports show that the 360 sold more than the PS3 in both November and December therefore Xbox 360 is still in second and PS3 is still in last.

It seems pretty unlikely that the Xbox One won't pass the Wii U in lifetime sales, and soon. The Wii U is really struggling right now.

X1 hasn't outsold the Wii U yet, but probably will some time in the next few months. Also, it didn't take the Wii U a year, but it sold the same amount as the X1 in its first few months. The problem began when the Wii U had a drought of releases, coming few and far between, leading to bad sales after those first few successful months. There's no reason to believe the X1 won't face similar struggles from here on out either.

What does this have to do with Microsoft selling less consoles. They have always had the most money and never finish first.

According to the source I think you then Sony is making is making a profit. And with a lot more sales of hardware and software and PS Plus Sony is making a profit.

When account for the money Microsoft has wasted on NFL sponsorships, Kinect 2.0 research their development costs for the Xflop are massively higher than the PS4. Sony will see true profit WAY before Microsoft ever will on these things so you can drop the financial damage control.

Sony was last place last generation, and i'm sure they will liekly be first place this gen, but not likely by a huge margin, probably by a percentage in the 10-15% range.

I have no idea. Sony dropped the ball last-gen and managed a solid comeback... The PS3 sucked until around 2007/2008. Psn sucked until around 2009/2010 (it still kinda does).

You do know that the sales that are added to a console are worldwide sales and not just American sales? Ps3 has been outselling 360 monthly worldwide for a long time now. Liking one system is fine but ignorance and stupidity is not.

Exact and then consider the differences in sales from xbox to 360 and from ps2 to ps3 the ps3 should be considered last even if id did manage to outsell the 360 by a mil or two as sony was definitely the loser and not m$. Ps4 looks to be winning this gen tho and ill own them all as usual(well not a wiiu, nintendo's gimmicks and casualization of games failed me especially after i loved my gamecube so much)'so i dont have to worry about this nonsense like the fanboys.

A month ago I would have said no but considering the number of Xbones on store shelves gathering dust these days I'd say it's possible that Xbone sales have fallen off a cliff. I wouldn't be surprised if it remained last place.

XB1 will outsell Wii U by large margin by the end of the quarter. XB1 has already helped MS post large earnings unlike Wii U.

No. The PS3 outsold the 360 worldwide when all was said and done (82.44 VS 81.11).

The Xbone, however, is definitely in the spot Sony was in 2006. They were shot by their own hubris and unrelenting arrogance, and are now suffering for it. Unlike many here, I don't wish to say that MS is destined to stay behind Sony. Like Sony did this generation, it's entirely possible that MS can turn the ship around. It just depends on how quickly they realize that people aren't going to buy a game console for TV watching.

Oh, and the PS4 has already outsold the Wii U in Europe. There's no way in hell the US and Japan (PS4 comes out this February there) won't follow in short order. Nintendo bet on the Wii U becoming the fad that the Wii did, and well, we all see how that turned out.

Not really it didn't. Microsoft had large earnings as a whole and most people are too stupid to realize Microsoft is more than windows, phones and xbox. The amount of money they make on their back end server software alone is more than a lot of countries earn in a year. They make money off of dozens and dozens of products 90% of people never even hear about.

So making billions of dollars and then lumping in xbox one doesn't mean the xbox one is the golden child, it just means its a tiny slice of a giant pie.
