Will Forza 6 save the Xbox One?

I recently played the Demo and was blown away.

Crisp, beautiful graphics, the return of impulse rumble, such quality in presentation and an abundance of new features, and although I hate to admit it, this is a game that is a must-play/must-buy for the Xbox one and an experience that can only be experienced on the Xbox one.

Can this be the Xbox One's comeback?

Did you not play Forza 5? That game was great also. It just didn't have as much content. I don't see how Forza 6 will be a savior. It is another quality Forza release as to be expected. Also, the XB1 doesn't need saving. It is doing quite well (especially in NA). Obviously PS4 is doing better, but XB1 is no slouch. Wii U... let's not talk about Wii U. lol

I wasn't aware that the Xbox one needed saving. Is doing better than PS4? Of course not, but it's still doing well.... Anyway I think Forza will be another great game, but MS really need to diversify their exclusives. Instead of investing in a forza every year they should make something new. I skipped horizon 2 and 5 so I can't wait to get this one.

lol the game will be forgotten the same week it came out...

So... what is so amazing about Forza 6? Forza 5 was already great and this game is just an extension of Forza 5. I don't see what is so special about it and why it would be a savior.

@XboxStache: The XB1 doesn't need saving. Only consoles that need saving this gen are the Wii U, Ouya and maybe the Steam Box (if it ever gets an official release). Nintendo is already making a new more powerful system to replace the Wii U. Forza 6 is the best next gen console racing game so far.

Save it? As in push it ahead of PS4? Lol, no. No game can do that, especially a driving game. PS4 has too much momentum now. About the only thing I could see turning things around would be a dozen Bethesda-sized exclusive titles (True exclusives, not this also on PC stuff) of top quality and well, that ain't gonna happen.

It might need saving in Europe. It's being outsold in NA but at least sales are respectable here. But Europe is a different matter, getting its fanny tanned there.

@Wickerman777: Europe has always had a hard on for playstations. Its the biggest reason the ps3 even caught up to the 360 despite being vastly inferior and behind in features for most of the gen.

The Xbox is doing awfully, it's losing developer support across the board and is doing so poorly that people are losing their jobs and it's entire game division is in a complete reorg.

Yeah, I know it's not selling as well in Europe, but with the current lineup of games this holiday and for next year, I believe sales will start to increase in the European market. It won't do anything in Japan. I'm sure U.S. sales will start to take off more then what they already are. It still doesn't need saving. It's selling better then the XBox 360. Not sure about software sales though.

Anyway, more people are into arcade racers than they are simulation racers. If a Forza game was going to make the bigger splash, it would be the next Horizon game. We already went through this with Forza Motorsport 5 and Horizon 2.

Honestly? Probably not. This is the third Forza game to hit the Xbox One in less than three years, the series is starting to feel a little fatigue at this point.

Sky's the limit, as long as they keep improving every iteration, I'll keep coming back for more, I've not been disappointed so far. Forza 5 brought Drivatars, dedicated cloud servers & impulse triggers to the table, and it was a launch game. Forza 6 is expanding on that with 24 players online support, a first for the Motorsport series, online leagues, water puddles and night driving. Yes water puddles, it may sound silly but they are doing it right and apparently studied the real life locations of these puddles to make it authentic.

Forza Motorsport is about car racing which is a sport....there are yearly iterations of Football, Soccer, Basketball, etc. ...Forza Motorspot comes out every 2 years though, so I really do not see the issue here and if you don't like it that is your perrogative but there is no need to lash out towards it or its fanbase, it's just not for you and that is cool, to each his/her own.

Forza 5 was the worst of the series. Not opinion. Fact. It had the least tracks, good cars, you raced the same events over and over again. Multiplayer was meh. Drivatar was alright I suppose, but compare that to F2, 3 or 4...heck, even Horizon 1...it felt bare bones.

yeah i watched E3 I dont care what about bunch of fanboy journalist say. If you think a Shenmue kickstarter and a FF7 remake thats not even exclusive mean they won E3 you really are a cow following the herd.

unlike most people I'm old enough to actually not have have colored glasses about Shenmue. It was innovative for its time being the first open world game but it was also a boring, weird game that had no mass appeal. Open world games have come a long way since Shenmue. Most people are just gaga over it because they were teenagers playing a 'real' game for the first time.
