@SolidGame_basic:
Tekken is still the best fight franchse IMO. I guess I just have grown out of them. Just like platformers were so 80s, fighting games belong in the 90s imo. Plus, Tekken 7 has more than half of its characters hidden behind pay walls, including classic characters like Lei Wulong. Seriously? I get that Noctis and Geralt are special dlc characters, but why the f would Lei or Armour King or Anna Williams cost money??
I just predict Forspoken will flop hard. Feel free to remind me when it relases.
FF16 does look good. But FF13, FF13-2, FF14, FF15 were all either extremely bad or completely meh at best. Will FF16 finally be good? Maybe. I'm too scared to hype it.
Blizzard are desperate to make D4 sound like D2, but honestly it sounds more like D3. Maybe I am too old school, but I don't like all these modern things they put into computer RPGs. I don't know how to simplify into a few paragraphs but I believe D4 will go into D3s path of giving you a shit load of skills for the sake of variety but no actual depth to build.
In Diablo 2, you had 7 classes and you had good builds and shit builds. For Paladins you had Hammers or Smiter, for sorceress you had ice, fire or lightning builds, etc, etc. I literally had 20-25 different characters all with different builds. We used to spend hundreds of hours doing research on forums reading guides how to optimalise our characters and their stats/skills/items.
in Diablo 3, they want you to mix and match instead of specialise... booo. In D2 you had a few OP spells and a lot of shit spells, in D3 they made everything equally balanced so that everything is viable. if everything's good - then nothing is. they will also probably make items A LOT more common than in D2 so that everyone gets good gear. The skill/stat system doesn't look good.
There are a few more points but if you have not played D2 its hard to understand. Best explanation I can give is D3 completely streamlined and casualised the experience to make it more accessible to noobs. More variety so people with short attention spans don't get bored. No focus or depth into the level and character building that D2 had. They vowed to go back to what made D2 great but I think it will be way more D3 than D2.
