Wii U is weaker than PS3 and Xbox 360?

I really tried to find games that looks better on Wii U but i can´t find any. So far Wii u graphics is worse than PS3 and Xbox 360

The X1 and the PS4 also don't have any games that look much better than last gen. Just sayin.

How about comparing first year Wii U games to games like Resistance fall of man, perfect dark zero, COD 2, Gears of war.....

Late in the Wii u's life the games will look better than late ps3 games. In fact I have yet to see anything on my ps4 that is a major leap from last gen aside from the games having higher res textures and acceptable AA.

The wii u is stronger on paper but the games look like ps3/360 games. So far there is no wii u game that screams next gen. As the TC has pointed out the HD twins best games look better than the wii u best looking games. Nintendo needs a game changer that says look the next gen is here.

TR:DE looks worse than the last-gen PC version.

Comparing 2013 Wii U games to 2013 PS3/360 games is a lot fairer than comparing 2014 Wii U games to 2006 PS3/360 games....

the Wii U's GPU alone is more powerful than the PS3 and X360 combined.

AC4 on the Wii U looks as good as the best looking games on the PS3/Xbox 360. It may not run as well as them, though.

Um not really, theirs lots of areas where the console version looks better then the pc version. Regardless there is not a single aspect where that game doesn't trounce anything that you will see on the PS3/360.

I was actually shocked at how good Ryse looked. I played a little Infamous SS at my buddy's...the game made me say "wtf". Those facial animations, all the lightning. Those are the two best looking games available right now.

Uh, not necessarily. There's some worse textures here and there, but the added/denser foliage and TressFX 2.0 make scenes more lively. It looks fantastic and calling the PC version "last-gen" is disingenuous. That game looked like an early next-gen game on PC when it released. I would have traded some slightly sharper textures for the improvements they made in the xb1/ps4 versions, given the chance. TR:DE and the PC version runs laps around 360 and ps3 games in the visual department.

You could easily put them in the top 5 on any platform.

HD Nintendo cartoonyness is beautiful of course but so were Kameo and Viva Pinata nearly a decade ago.

For people comparing the Wii U to the PS3 and 360 my understanding was that it has a processor slightly weaker then both. But it has significantly more ram and a better GPU.

I guess you're right. Then he should be comparing multiplats like assassins creed 4 to make such claims.

Either that or the best from both sets of platforms with each other. So I guess Mario Kart 8 with Gran Turismo 6, or Mario 3D World to Uncharted 3 etc...

That might explain Assassin's Creed has Performance issues on the Wii U... It relys on the CPU more than anything else.

Yes.....WiiU is weaker than PS3/XBOX360.Ans that is why no game on the WiiU looks better than God of War 3 and uncharted games on the PS3.

Who cares? That's not stopping me from saying Ryse looks amazing. It's a launch title; just imagine X1 exclusives 2-3 years from now. Is Infamous SS or Ryse available on PC?

The GameCube was waaay more powerful than the PS2 but the latter often outperformed it on multiplat games if not always. Same thing is happening now with the Wii U vs PS3.

Both the PS4 and Xbone have weaker Cpu than last gen too but x86 is supposedly more convenient because of stuff like "out of order execution" (and cheaper too). And while the Wii U has a different Cpu Instruction Set than PS4/Xbone they all have exactly the same architecture where the console is heavily dependant on Gpgpu if they don't want to choke the Cpu and hinder performance. Cpu and Gpu have direct access to memory pools, etc.

It's already been proven it's stronger.

Meanwhile, PC still doesn't have exclusives worth the boot? Still will get multiplats thanks to consoles. Name me one PC exclusive that even in the realm of Uncharted, Halo, Super Mario Galaxy or Gears....I'll give you ARMA 2.

Aside from some cute but non-essential gamepad features, it's safe to say that Mass Effect 3 on Wii U is a solid enough conversion but offers nothing of substance to elevate it over the existing Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game - it's clearly an improvement over the lacklustre PlayStation 3 release with a higher performance level, but across the overall run of play it's somewhat disappointing to see a vintage 2005 console with slower GPU and less RAM match and indeed exceed the quality of the experience found on the brand new Nintendo hardware.

A) Uncharted was an average feeling game

B) Halo is on PC

C) Gears of war, also on PC

1080p/60fps PC exclusive

nintendos games have mostly cartoony artstyle...

the flopstation3 and 360 aim for realistic graphics.

the hardware inside the wiiu is more advanced than those systems though.
