Wii sales impressive but.....

wii sales hve been impressive but the 360 was hurt by not haveing more supply at launch you could not find one till march almost april after launch sales would have been alot better. I think the 360 will win in the states but lose overall because of sales in Japan the wii and ps3 make up alot of ground on the 360 there because the wii has barley outsold the 360 in Euroupe and North America since launch and the 360 has been out for a year but the 360 has been hammered in Japan you can't win without that market.

the wii has dominated since launch

It just my opinion and i have scene wii on shelves just not for very long. I work at Taget it not like we get big shipments of them 15-20 every three weeks.kdupe88

 i work in electronics at wal-mart

we get like 35-40 every 3-4 weeks we put them out at midnite on the day we advertise it

and they sell out by noon

we still have ppl waiting a few hours til midnite to get one

the wii is dominating

Yeah, both consoles have been affected by shortages. The difference?
Microsoft couldn't handle supply.
Nintendo can't keep up with demand.
Why else is it that the Wii has sold in less than 5 months 2/3 of what the 360 has in 17?

Before i start i own a 360 and a Wii. and believe that the 360 is the best overall system in terms of games. but i dont believe it will win or even finish second, in fact expect it to finish third. The Wii craze is gonna pick up like the DS and pretty much win in terms of sales, because its strong in NA, EU, and Japan. as for 360 vs PS3, although i believe the 360 will have the better overall library, it will be the PS3 that claims second. PS3 will sell more than 360 in Japan. 360 is basically dead there. The PS3 will be stronger than 360 in Europe, its one of there big areas, in fact it might just beat out the wii there. 360 IMO will win in the NA, specifically the US, but PS3 will beat it in 2 out of 3 territories.

the wii will have plenty of amazing games built "just for the wii" like Metroid, Mario, Nights, possibly Kid Icarus

and don't worry about the 360 and ps3

when more ppl get HDTVs and the prices of the consoles start dropping sales will even out

plus Halo, MGS4. FFXIII, and GTAIV are gonna sell a lot of 360s and ps3s this year

I like the wii i just wish someone besides nintendo would make great games for it instead of ports. It more powerful then the Gamecube and xbox but ganes look like crap on it.They just tack on wii controlls.kdupe88

At least he is not trying to pass it as fact. And I think it won't be that close.... 

The Wii is popular because of kids and casual gamers and that's why it's dominating the market. Nintendo has played it pretty safe by going for the easy shot as opposed to pleasing their fans. End of story.

The Wii has potential as a console if they stop making hammy, shallow titles and start putting out better quality games. Generally, hen someone chooses substance over style (new controller instead of flashy graphics) they deliver the substance...not Cooking Mama.
