Well, arn't we Mr. Awsome Cool. :roll: Screw you to tell other people how they should have fun. Sounds like your just jelous that you don't get invited to gaming partys. My bro's GF had a birthday last month (turned 27) and we had about 40 people of all ages and genders playing Wii at one point. But, I guess you're right, we are socially inferior to you as we hang out in groups having fun instead of sitting alone playing some FPS online with strangers we can't even touch.

By the way, almost everyone in those pics are drinking alcohol.

I don't own a Wii and after playing with it at a party about two weeks ago I probably never will.   Its not that its not fun but its like "simple".  I think that is the secret to its success.  There were maybe 30 people at this party.  Roughly even number of guys and girls.  Normally at a party like this the guys will break off at some poing and leave the girls yapping while we go play but at the party the girls were totally into it too.  People that had never played any console in their life were jumping to play the Tennis and boxing games the moment they saw that it was a simple motion they were familiar with.  Even if they totally sucked they played I think because the motion was a familiar one.  Noobs were fascinatd with how it worked and how the sensors could know where one was standing and moving.

A bunch of people that NEVER talked about games were talking about it and talking about wanting to get one after playing it. 

Whatever.....I still find it gimmicky.  If I owned it the thing would be like a karaoke machine that never gets played except at parties.

I will never own it.

What about traditional games? I know it's a port, but Godfather for the Wii is really well done. It feels like an, honest to God, murder simulator. Choking the life out of someone in a game with your bare hands in real life just feels diturbing.

And of course their are games that are not ports. 

If you ask sheep its cause it sells.

No one else thinks its all that fantastic.

Zelda, Call of Duty, Monkeyball, Trauma Center, Paper Mario, Galaxy, Metroid, (in fact anything that is not a party game) are all played loafed over on the couch. YOU DO NOT STAND OR WAVE YOUR ARMS in any of these games or any other game of similar genre. It's actually more comfortable to play these games with the wiimote than with a standard pad since your arms are rested at each of your sides instead of linked together holding a controller.

Wii currently semi-sucks. There is no denying it. Here are my reasons why it sucks:

1. Wii = a very disgusting name, just think if your little brother walks in and says "Hey, can i play with your Wii?"

2. Only two good game out right now (In my opinion) Zelda and Wii sports.

3. Most of the games control very awkwardly with the Wiimote.

4. The remote makes weird sounds.

5. The strap breaks.

6. Most games have bad graphics and sound.

7. Mii's suck.

8. Virtual console games are overpriced.

9. Gamecube controllers plug in weirdly.

10. Can't delete settings/saves (You might be able to, but i haven't figured out how yet.)

Good facts about Wii:

1. Super Smash Bros. Melee will feature Solid Snake.

2. Metroid Prime 3

3. Thinking...

Great. Now each console is more fun than the others.

This keeps spiraling upwards until we find god playing C64.

It desent matter how great the graphics keep getting.  untill our eyes see two different pictures, we will never see true 3d.

2 out of thise 3 games could have been played on GC versions. Thats the biggest joke of it. The only other Wii game you have to make your point, is a demo.

On the point of playing for hours. Oblivion and your not playing that on a last gen system. Yes the psp is basically a different game.
