TO me it diddnt blip that much, because the C&C 3 (and red alert 3) came out not long ago, so for me it is too soon...

It does look like the better game tho. (compared to the 3's)

people dont pay it any attention/hate it because its breaking away from its old RTS formula which has been done to death and showing its age, people are afraid of change, when realy they should embrace it abit more.

Because while most RTS and the previous CNC games emphasized a briskly paced but intimate tactical style of gameplay that was just a little slow but still quite intense, CnC3 turned the series into an ADHD rush-fest where a few basic tactics were only needed to overproduce the most obsene number of units possible and win 99% of the games by sheer numbers alone, making micromanagement and proper economy take a back seat to who can click the "build tank" button the fastest.

B-B-But I love steamrolling my enemies. Just imagine 50 Kirov airship in attack mode flying pass your base, or 50 Mammoth tanks crushing you.

Personally I am extremely pleased it is breaking from the C&C mold. I really, really hope it does well in this respect, its not often an established IP really tries to push the genre in different directions.

I actually didn't know this was coming out so soon. Really I've had my eyes set on SupCom 2. I don't play PC but the first SupCom on 360 made me rethink that a RTS CAN be on console. The images of SupCom2 have me moe excited.

I think it looks and sounds very promising, I'm glad they're trying something new with the series. But that's not gonna help against Starcraft 2, it's gonna suck the hype out of this and every other scifi RTS of '10.

So that's how cool SC is...

Anyway I think it's nice of C&C to change it's pace for the Tiberium series.

Take a look at Warhammer 40k Dawn of War I and II. Dawn of War II can be a good game, but most of the Warhammer 40k fans prefered the old Dawn of War gameplay.

Better savemoney for Starcraft II.

When its on the shelves iall buy it, but till then i can't say i care that much.

The past few years have had alot of C&C, with C&C3, Kane's Wrath, Red Alert 3 and Uprising, iam all C&C'd out tbh. But it does look good.

is this a joke? oh, TC, nobody talks about this game because PC gamers don't feel the need to hype games until they come out and also because console C&C is just

The way I see it C&C4 will be one of those games that score high but in a couple of years people will hardly remember. My guess is that in like five years people will more easily remember C&C or C&C:RA2, than C&C4(unless those people are noobs);)

But Company of Heroes isn't a 15yo series with 7 base building RTS games. If EA wants to change the core gameplay, than create a Command & Conquer: Anything, without the number 4 in the title. ;)

That's another thing I don't get... it's the "final" game in the series and they are going to change it so much... they should have just made Generals 2 and did this....

Totally agree, i didn't like Tiberium Wars, i was pretty dissapointed with that game, actually with StarCraft 2 in this year, i hardly gonna check C&C4, if any, i'll check Napoleon Total War.

All right. Look at the guy's face. Towards the middle, right at the bottom in green.

That doesn't say EA, it's Westwood, the company behind it and then ruined by the other.

I'll respect your opinion, but I bought some C&C games after they liquidated Westwood, they're terrible. But that's my own opinion. I'm glad that CnC is still keeping a fanbase, but I'll stick to Westwood's label.

I was excited for a game called Tiberium though, but EA cans the good stuff, as usual. Renegade 2 was killed and an MMO was killed.

they could just copy/paste that whole game and update its graphics. that would be a win in my book

The game is going to suck hard. EA finally finished ruining Command and Conquer. I am probably going to buy it though, I need to know how the Tiberium Series ends. But based on my time playing the beta, the game is terrible, absolute garbage.

no bases, no tiberium fields, no tactics, rushfest, unlocking units and upgrades. = Fail. Why EA? why?

It's a PC exclusive, they took out base-building(are you ******* kidding me!!! ), and Supreme Commander 2, StarCraft 2(as overrated as it'll be), and Napoleon: Total War will all trump this game. Well, maybe not Napoleon if they don't improve on the Empire formula.
